Today I can present to you the second public beta of CoinBingo!

Free 1000 Bits (100 Satoshi = 1 Bit) for every user
Only a username needed to register
Reply in this thread with your username to get your bonus manually credited.


Features:

• Realtime - 99% of the website gets updated instantly
• Unique custom made game
• Fair (it uses provable fair mechanism but verification will come after the beta versions)
• Only username needed to play, no long registration
• No need to stay online. You can buy cards and come back later to see the result
• Play multiple games at the same time. You can safely click the games list and join another game while you are waiting.

Bingo Rules:

• 75 Ball
• Maximum 10 cards per game
• Price per card is different per game
• Game starts when the minimum amount of players is reached
• 95% goes back to players
• 70% goes to Bingo Prize
• 30% goes to Pattern Prize
• All prizes are divided by the amount of cards that won the prize. So you could win with 2 cards and another player with 1 card. Then you would get 66.6% and the other players 33.3%

Dude you need to take this site offline I see alot of vulnerabilities.   Alot of bugs as well

Yes I am aware on this. Only very high end Android phones will work okay. And you probably need to be on WIFI too.

Yes that's correct. 1 Bit = 100 Satoshi.
So it's about 0.60$, but no restrictions except you need to wager it at least once. Then you can withdraw it and your winnings (unless you've lost of course).

It as safe to click the game away and come back later if there are not many players. Your account gets saved in a cookie.

I just tried your site, was greeted with "register" page, entered my nick "bitbaby" was sent back to the same page again, tried again but it kept sending back to the same page.

I don't know if it's a glitch or my browser, but I use the same browser to play on various dice/casino/poker sites all day and never have any problems.

I have taken the game offline for maintenance. Some people were abusing the free promotion. Really sad what people do for a few cents.

It might be 12+ hours before it's back online. I'm thanking the users that were legit for playing.

Just curious:  I was about to start my first game and purchased 2 boards at 100 bits per....so my balance was at 800, how will this work when it comes back up??

Hi. I've just hit a giant pause button, so everything will continue when the game is back online. But that will be after I've taken measures to prevent abuse.

So to confirm, you will still have your 2 cards and 800 Bits balance.

That is kind of what I was scared of.  So I am active in a game(waiting for 2 more players)  when you do decide to bring it back, and 2 more players join.  I won't even be there will it just go on without me and if I win I win?  How does that work? 

Well I was using firefox the latest version, but I will try and see if I can get it to work on Chrome. Also, do a soft opening next time and add feature for trial accounts or demo play, so it can be tested and once it is good to go then open it for money play and then you can add the promo bonus feature for the new players.

Yes indeed, but this is intended behavior. Because there can't always be enough players online, so you can safely go away and still win some Bits. If I game is finished you can find it back in the history (http://www.coinbingo.co/#/history) tab of your account.

Anyways, I've doubled your bonus to 2000 Bits for the troubles. I just couldn't keep the game online any longer because the abuse was getting really bad.

And the whole point of the free bits is to test the game, you only need to input a username, so that's easy enough I guess.

It's fair under the hood, but not provably at the moment. It uses the client site in your settings and a random server seed. This functionality will come, but it's a lot of work to incorporate it nicely in the design. So to clarify: yes it's fair in the backend, no I can't prove it yet.

Both the games you played were with 2 cards total, the odds of having Bingo earlier than one of the last balls that are very slim.

I can see user mcb1221 payed out some winnings, so it was just bad luck for you :(

Well that just isn't true at all:)  The odds are actually HUGELY in your favor to not have the last ball (75 of 75 numbers grant you a bingo)  I am guessing its up in the 1 out of 10,000 and probably 1 out of 100,000 to have it twice in a row....

I just meant the more cards in a game the higher chance bingo will come earlier. But I'm not a mathematician, can't give you any facts about the odds :(

I am sorta doubting this game at the moment.  Basically every bingo seems to come down to the last 5 numbers called.  The odds of this happening are so rare it isn't even funny...

Not sure how it would benefit the house or anything just very interesting...

According to Wizard of Odds (http://wizardofodds.com/games/bingo/probabilities/1/) it will take an average of 72.96 balls to get a full card "coverall". He also explains the theory behind this on his website. I'm not a mathematician, but his theory seems right.

It does seem right, the problem is I was just going for 4bingos(all outside), which he doesn't have...but says it should take 3 bingos about 51-52 numbers....not 75 both times....Could just be rotten luck but the guy I was playing again also got it on the last number too..(both had the same number)  Not saying anything just seemed rather weird..

Yes you can leave at any time without a problem. If the game has ended while you are offline you can find it back in your history (http://www.coinbingo.co/#/history)

I'm really digging your website, it was easy to get the hang of. The only thing is that games can sometimes take a while to play. You should try making custom single player bingo games. I'm thinking the kind like in the BigFishBingo app that you can play by yourself... I think it's called "speed bingo". You guys should add something like that to your site.

Wouldn't be the same since it would be one player, but I think you guys could make it into something really unique, as you have already taken regular bingo and found a way to make it work online with bitcoin.

Single player games is definitely something we are looking into. It's just not as easy as multiplayer games because you would be playing against the house instead of other players.

Our short term goals are fixing bugs, improving the current experience and adding some new features. After that we will launch an ad campaign so hopefully more players will come so games will start sooner. But even then, singe player games could be really interesting.

And I probably won't add mBTC or Satoshi, I think Bits will be the future. We gotta start somewhere with adopting it.

Competing with the big million dollar companies outside Bitcoin is quite a challenge. Luckily for me, I am only the 2nd Bingo game in the Bitcoin world. Gotta start somewhere right?
