What is Hash Power Trading

Hash power refers to the computational power of a Bitcoin Miner. By digitizing the hash power to tradable shares. Buyers and sellers of Bitcoin miners and hash power would be much easier.

Advantages of trading hash power compared to buying miners

For sellers or mining power, you need not worry on delayed payment or even transaction reversed by the buyer. While for miners, not only do you can mine instantly without shipping delay. The quality and hashrate of the miner is assured. You don't even have to hassle with the stability and the maintenance of the miner. We will do it for you at the cheapest possible way.

Our maintenance fee is the lowest compared to other alternatives. Typical miners only cost 0.022CNY/GH/day (0.66CNY/GH/month) while platforms like CEX.io costs 0.26USD (1.61CNY/GH/month) for the same service.

The cost of hash power is very competitive too as we source our miners from the most reliable and cheapest source. We offer you miner with price as low as 0.0014BTC/GH, up to 5 times cheaper than what you can get on some other platforms

Just like any securities on the market, you are free to buy and sell GHs on the marketplace. We also provide "miner to GH" and "GH to miner" features for Chinese citizens.

Hardware to Mining shares

There are 2 ways to create new mining shares on the platform.

1. You can buy miner from us at the "Buy Miner to Hash" page. The miner's price same as miner company in china.
So you don't need to spend $200 and one week time to express overseas. The miner transform to Ghash direct.

For example, an AntMiner S2 will create 1000 x ANTS2 1 GH shares. You will be able to start mining and trade these shares on our asset exchange to other users.

2. You can also deliver your own miner to us, you will get equivalent amount of mining shares. We will host and manage it for you with our unparalleled service yet reasonable price. You cal also trade on the platform without fee.

This feature is limited to shipping miners to area within China.


How to trade

Different models of miner has its individual market as they differs in the electricity cost. Visit the "Hash Trading" page to start grab your hash power. All shares are denominated in GHash.


Allocation of profits

Mined profits are automatically allocated to your balance every 24 hours. Users can check their unallocated profit and realized hash power at the "Miner Monitor" page

Maintenance fee and electricity cost

For example, an AntMinerS2 cost would be 660CNY per month, which is almost equivalent to the cost that you mine at home.
It is only 0.022CNY/G/Day. Costs less than half of some other platforms for the same services

Calculation:
Maintenance Cost * GHs of Mining power * days
0.022 * 1000 * 30 = 660CNY



The cost of electricity will be deducted from the mined amount. The charge will be calculated in Bitcoin with BTCChina's exchange rate. The cost of corresponding miners are listed at frontage and the charged amount will be shown at "Transactions" tab.

Availability of hash power and warranty of miners

We provide lifetime maintenance for hosted miners. The contract of miner will end when the daily profit is equivalent to the maintenance fee. Users could sell the hash power before trading terminates, and users with sufficient shares could redeem the miner.

So I have ordered a couple of miners, and I will report here my experiences. As an European, it could be a cheap solution for buying and hosting miners. For example: When I buy an S2 at Bitmain, I pay the price, customs and VAT at customs. Furthermore, I'm heating my office with electricity which is way overprized at the place I live.

What I have done now:

a) Opened two accounts with Snowball - one for me privately, one for me as an individual
b) Transferred some BTC on my (two) accounts
c) Bought a couple of miners with each account
d) Bought some hashing power with the remaining BTC

So now, the bought hashing power appears in my balance.

The miners - S2 and S3 - should appear once they are deliverd to Snowball. Waiting for it.

Seems to be hashing.

The only real drawback i see from CEX.io is there isn't merged mining?  I could be missing it though.

The interface also needs some work, but slowly figuring it out.
