I'd be interested to know if you think we will start seeing more of this. Maybe the Bitcoin logo will be seen at Wimbledon next year ;)

The Bobsled Team, and Josh Wise, both used Digital currency to raise funds directly from fans in lieu of sponsorship. While fans were able to support them with bitcoins, they got nothing in return, so it was a donation, not sponsorship. None of the above were sponsorship contracts, hence Jon Fitch is the first to be sponsored by and paid in digital currency. People who don't know what the word sponsorship means, REALLY need to stop calling others ignorant :) Ignorant people REALLY need to stop using the word First, there are not that many low hanging "firsts" to be had.
