Maybe because they just want to see the replies that they want?
:( Bad decision for BitBlock guys...

Not at all guys, it is to keep unwanted garbage out of the thread. Some of the posts from the earlier thread were just not needed, We figure if you want to discuss something, discuss it like a grown up. Not to moderate every post that comes through knocking bitblock. We have always believed in the unmoderated thread, however with the same few people who continue to harass our team and some of the others posting on the thread, we feel it is just best to keep them out honestly, its better for everyone, more informative information, and constructive criticism make for better work from us and better voice from the loyal miners of BitBlock

ocmineer, Grab latest source on github updated about an hour ago, if your using Windows, the link on this ANN for windows gui, or headless, rebuilding the windows gui right now in case of some missing dlls from a static flag. Delete all the info in your .bitblock file (except your wallet.dat of course) then resync. Another 15 minutes on this wallet build for those who are having a DLL problem, built it in a rush and forgot a flag to make some dll's static in the build.

Of course i've already grabbed the latest wallet from github, compiled it and tried several things.. Deleted everything but wallet.dat etc..

Still not working for me

Look Once more, This is our first coin. Period. dont even know what presidentcoin. on top of that my team wouldnt be lame enough to name our coin "presidentcoin"...seriously.

EDIT: Working out the dll issue with the windows gui. Building in too much of a hurry to get it out there and just forgetting things.

Should have static DLL's without any issues

Now I m puzzled. From they day one I participated into this with CPU miners, now I see my wallet works but you say that I need another one even if I don't see anything wrong with this one comparing to the data from pools listed in the OP. Dev didn't go away after this failure. This is a positive thing. In fact I don't have idea what was the failure. My experience says that I shouldn't dump now but then again if my coins worth nothing now on new chain, if there is a new chain at all, then I should dump.

I'm in the same shoe, but seeing that some pools are on block #8045 I think we're on the wrong fork.

Hard fork is a dangerous thing, but...DEV seems...
without any notification and now...
samething happened on VTC long long ago...

Hi everyone, I have been trying to get my Sgminer5.0 to mine X15 for the past few days. I'm having problems with the config file, evey config i try gives me no connection to the pool, or HW errors with invalid noncecount, also the other issue is low difficulty shares being rejected. I am using BAMT with SGMINER 5.0 and its the only way I can mine x15, if anyone has a config file i can try please I will pay for you help.

I'm using the bitblock kernel and this config to just try to get the x11 to work, but it still comes with low difficulty shares. Anytime i try another config with bitblock kernel or if i try to change this config i get invalid nonce count and HW errors. PLEASE HELP ME!

hashharder still showing different values than it should be. It seems to me that you didn't update.
Block number is wrong, diff is wrong, etc...

no it can't... the old wallet, it takes forever to transfer, the new wallet isn't anywhere...
(but you can buy some old on the exchange... but you can't transfer them)
dev made a big mistake, but doesn't seem to really care

Wallet source was updated.

I wasn't aware that you also had to remove the old block chain.

Will do so now.

Had to remove all old payout information as it conflicts with new blockchain (being a lot smaller etc).

Now I m so frustrated again and don't know what to say except this.
Decided to support dev again and forget about my coins I had before in old chain.
Downloaded new wallet from this page, deleted everything I had from old version.
Opened new address, new appdata dir, and yet wallet stop synch showing exact values like in old wallet.
So where is new windows wallet, what we are using, what is going on.
I don't care anymore because I m out.

All you have to do is delete all content form appdata\roaming\bitblock

and start bitblockqt. you will lose some coins but the diff is low now. you can makeup the loss.

Thanks dev for not bailout.

check not to have any conf in bitblock-qt folder and have a little patience in about 1 min it should be sync. Also be sure to delete all files (including wallet.dat) with wallet close.

I wouldn't complain for 4k either, I am losing 80k, which were valued for a little while as much as 8btc... so dev clearly needs to do something.
However with yesterday instamine (which I partly missed...) they worth nothing.
dev is a total moron or a big incompetent, I wouldn't even trust him with some of my dead coin...

So how in the hell i deny connection from wallet? It can be done trough firewall?

old wallet => old block chain
new wallet => new block chain

i've got the new wallet. but it connects to old nodes as well even with the custom conf

Hi,

Delete all from bitblock folder, except wallet.dat then run new wallet with -resync - rescan option without any config file! Wait for the syncing, it will take 5-10 minutes.

Windows firewall FTW. Blocked bad nodes. everything working perfect now. Got 2 transaction already.

For those that are on windows 7 here is a little how to:

http://www.ipburger.com/blog/easiest-way-to-block-an-ip-address/

and block the following ip's:
211.151.146.122
27.254.60.24
67.215.11.195
37.187.74.123
71.178.206.34
94.43.227.99
192.99.3.15
173.199.202.162
23.25.199.19

Hope it helps

im still mining.call me whatever u would like.

Why?

Do you enjoy wasting your time?  This coin is dead.  Forked to hell and dev has abandoned you.
it isn't forked to hell, but there is clearly two forks.
old blockchain (used by the exchange, whomever said that polo did move to the new wallet was entirely wrong... so people are buying and selling a coin which cannot move outside the exchange  ;D)
new blockchain (used by the miners.... but not by the exchange)

so this is a major screw up.

So yes, in the current state, the coin is dead... (it is up to dev to do a proper fork)  and I don't think the exchange will buy into the new blockchain crap...

Agree...
At this point this is totally new coin and soon exchanges see what happened they will remove it.
What confuses me that few other coins based their work on BitBlock and they made success.
Also they stated that BitBlock team helped them a lot.

It cannot be that we lose our old coins if the dev continues. Otherwise what's preventing him to do it again this way.  Maybe the dev can explain what's the new strategy?

they just picked the algo... dev either doesn't know how to fork a coin or is trying to screw people.
I think dev realized that his premined for version 1 was too small... so right now I tend to agree with shojayxt, unless it fixes things up, the chance that it is a scam is pretty high...

Now it isn't obvious what the exchange will do. yesterday buy volume was 2BTC on bittrex, so do you think that people who bought for 2BTC of BBL will just say it is okay to change the block chain and get over their losses...

BBL Frozen on Poloniex.
best move it can happen, bittrex should do it too... as people are currently buying and selling a coin which doesn't exist at the moment...
dev needs to do a proper fork (or find someone for doing it for him...)

it's not a scam probably, just a small FU, with some major consequences. but FU's too can be managed and fixed properly, we're all human. But it should not be that all investors lose there money from the old chain. If he's not going to fix this how it's supposed too, then I don't think BBL will survive.

@dev: please give us some feedback on your plans on how to resolve this and also how to go forward

being on the right chain i don't think so. if he will do a proper fork you will not loose the coins. since i'm mining on the right fork now

These are the blocked nodes that are bad:
5.167.253.16, 23.25.199.19, 27.254.60.24, 37.187.74.123, 37.187.144.69, 41.206.23.40, 46.50.42.255, 67.215.11.195, 71.178.206.34, 75.130.163.51, 78.93.226.190, 91.40.177.40, 94.43.227.99, 173.199.202.162, 192.99.3.15, 198.23.71.118, 202.59.89.87, 203.100.77.35, 204.152.196.234, 210.245.91.55, 211.151.146.122, 212.179.226.29, 216.239.72.107

It is not possible to block the nodes like that, there are certain nodes that are on 2 or more ports, one port is correct and another is not. That's what real problem is, so just can't block some IP.
For last 3 hours I m trying to find out what is wrong, why am I wasting my time I have no idea.

This fork will cease to exists if he tries to put back the old blockchain, this one has more block than the new blockchain (since he didn't care either about block height  ;D)
so you are mining a dead coin no matter what he does to solve the problem...

THOSE CODE WAS COPIED FROM MAIN.C - CURRENT VERSION
Correct me if i wrong
 - currently we on the lower bracket, at diff 10 we will have a block reward of 27 (3333 / (pow((10+1),2))
 - if some how to get into block 9876, at diff 10 we have a block reward of 800 (11111 / (pow((10+1)/4,2))) -- actually it's 1469 but max block reward is 800
 - okay now we get into block 18000 at diff 10 we have a block reward of 52 (5555555 / (pow((10+2600)/8,2))
That was a insane block reward formular
Quote
   if(nHeight >= 9876) {
        if((nHeight >= 17000 && dDiff > 75) || nHeight >= 18000) { // GPU/ASIC difficulty calc
            // 2222222/(((x+2600)/9)^2)
            nSubsidy = (5555555.0 / (pow((dDiff+2600.0)/8.0,2.0)));
            if (nSubsidy > 25) nSubsidy = 69;
            if (nSubsidy < 5) nSubsidy = 20;
        } else { // CPU mining calc
            nSubsidy = (11111.0 / (pow((dDiff+1.0)/4.0,2.0)));
            if (nSubsidy > 800) nSubsidy = 800;
            if (nSubsidy < 75) nSubsidy = 75;
        }
    } else {
        nSubsidy = (3333.0 / (pow((dDiff+1.0),2.0)));
        if (nSubsidy > 800) nSubsidy = 800;
        if (nSubsidy < 1) nSubsidy = 1;
    }

AND WE STILL HAVE 1 DAY DIFF RETARGET  ???
Quote

static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 24 * 60 * 60; // BitBlock: 1 day
static const int64 nTargetSpacing = 1.9 * 60; // BitBlock: 2.5 minutes
static const int64 nInterval = nTargetTimespan / nTargetSpacing; // 576

If i was right then KGW will activate at block 15200  ???
Quote
           if (pindexLast->nHeight+1 >= 68589) { DiffMode = 4; }

I would hardly call it dead. If the dev doesn't answer for 2-3 days, that's fine. Maybe he has other things to worry about (or he actually has a life). However, he is stretching the limit on how much he can ignore his thread. Personally, I would dump this coin in the bin if the dev doesn't answer before this time tomorrow.

Let us formulate the tasks. What needs to be done, whether you want to change the behavior recalculation difficulties? It is recalculated once a day. If mains power suddenly drops 10 times, the recalculation has to wait 10 days, it is great this problem? After all other coins complexity recalculated longer.

what would be needed,
would be to fork back to the old chain,
then adjust the difficulty retarget (on the old chain, it takes forever to get a block)

and may-be eventually put an higher block reward (which works also when people are mining)

The proper thing to do would be to just forget about this shitcoin.  If you're going to go through all that work then might just as well launch a new coin without the scammy instamine.

I don't know if this coin is officially supported anymore but from my understanding, the new fork destroyed old coins, which CANNOT allow.  At this point we are on the original blockchain yet, and if not guidance shows up, we will be delisting the market and allow the coins to be withdrawn on the old blockchain.

Thanks,

Exchanges are going to delist the coin soon. Do you really think that any dev wants to help on it?  :-\

I will give 15K coins to the new developer who is willing to take over this abandoned coin and fix the block chain issues. I am sure other bag holders will also donate.

I like this idea. I can donate too. Any dev willing to take over?

Just let this shitcoin go down the toilet where it belongs.  Anything tainted by the shitcoin dev carsen cock needs to disappear.

anyone has a link to download a compiled cpu miner for x86?? i will give reward..

the original cpu miner link got deleted on mega
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=665159.60

In my case I've minted the coin using the wallet console
Open your wallet > Help > Debug Window > Open console and write:
Code:
setgenerate true

With that code you can mine directly from your computer CPU  ;)
