Thanks for sharing this is very important, it is true everyone shows "shit coins" instead of "altcoins" and also only try to destroy each other and this gives a bad image to investors, is altcoins would go to the moon if what companies to invest in this, add bad launching, bad names of coins, so will not take seriously the altcoin other people, too many algorithms, etc .... but even despite this we continue mainly the time we have invested in this most of us, for now the main idea is to form a team with a limited number of participants, is seeing results as we can keep adding more people to generate the necessary confidence.

well it's not necessarilly maru, it's any coin that loks to be taking off. Whales operate by talking about coins taking off after they have already bought in really cheap, so people panic buy right into their sell walls. Every trader should learn this, along with not overtrading and being patient. HODL!

Most coins are created to take away your bitcoins. Almost everyone knows this... Don't play the game if you expect to win all the time. It doesn't work like that.

unless the currency or project has utility to those in the real world, and adoption is the core concern, won't this just end up with a lot of miners and traders swapping money between themselves?

 you cant end up with a lot of miners  because many have invested time and money which have not been recovered yet, it would be better to start decreasing the amount of coins (see dogecoin fail), and give confidence to investors (see aurora coin fail) many things are necessary and will be able to go see in this forum, when a currency everyone knows instamine whales arrive and leave out small and medium miners ,whales sell a lot of coins to prices very very low, and small miners with a few coins don´t have nothing and coin die in two or three days........,
even traders are necessary because good traders move the market by creating demand and supply   two thing neccesary in economy........

Here's my take:
1. Unlike trading shares, stocks and bonds.....where more companies provide value through their products; most alt coins provide nothing. Most of them try to be store of value. With bitcoin and litecoin around, why would anyone bother with them. Yes, there are some innovations like MSC, NXT etc but certainly not the high valuation they currently claim.

2. I am not entirely sure what the 2nd point means but I guess you are talking about innovation. There is next to 0 innovation in altcoins. They have yet to think of something Satoshi hasn't (and by that I don't mean some new algo - PoS, x11, x15, nscrypt etc) but something really makes them apart from them being more than a store of value.

3. It is rather conceited that most coins think they provide "privacy". Bitcoin was supposedly anonymous, until it became famous and it was no more. The whole "privacy" thing is like "Mac has no virus" claim. Under that claim fact really is: User base and acceptance of Mac is way lower than Windows so many virus writers dont bother with it.
Similarly, coins with low following (ie not rivalling bitcoin) can claim anonymity to their heart contents. If they ever reach the popularity of bitcoin, they might even have a worse privacy implementation than bitcoin.

oh well,   scam without limits, this dev did that miners wasted money and time 3 days, now there is not source code, and wallets stuck in block 4800,no exchange, you can't reply in his post.................  

I question:    is there any malicious code on it?  or is a way of take our hashrate?
