I don't see 37.59.21.199 in your debug.log - are you sure that it is reading the right .conf file? and that you restarted your wallet properly after removing peers.dat?

It should list the IP address above in the debug.log if it is connecting

It's very likely the issue is on your end, I'm not positive, but it seems so.

Many people in thread were disappoint about my job, so i have brought in my friend to help the coin. he will take over as lead dev and and experiment with a hardware project he was planning to test with bitcoin. That was not original vision for the coin but until i am back it is good to use as experiment ground. also i am sorry for my writings, english is not my primary language. ben will take over to improve the readability of our ann thread, as well as taking on the PR. we also look for new additions to the team if you have experience in hardware to help with Aegis 1 project, which is currently in pre-alpha.

Tbh, that the announcement was the announcement of the whitepaper was a bit confusing. I guess it was a bit disappointing for some, but acutally if you deliver a solid roadmap that is worth much more than some fancy wallet. The markets love fancy stuff though.

Nice work on the coin and the whitepaper, but I must say you've got a horrible logo. It looks bad, and as someone who speaks greek the logo looks even uglier to me. Plus the spinning logo has a typo, the name on your big logo is αεγυσ with υ and logo αεγισ with ι. and also in greek we never put this S (σ) in the end of the word, you put this kind of s: ς so Aεγυς. Word still makes little sense :P. If you need some help with that you can always contact me here or on twitter guys ;)

nah the premine was also reduced and its only 5apex from each block, miniscule amount. apex is actually genuine, they have put a huge amount of work into it. i support both apex and aegis.

When is the announcement?

Hey guys, two announcements today!

First one is that all the features talked about in the whitepaper should be delivered in 2-3 days, we've been working night and day and should be pushing them out really soon.

The second one is we had hidden in our sleeve for later but since everyone has an eye on Aegis we decided to  give you guys the news now.
We've been saying merchant adoption is one of the things to focus on and we mean it, crypto won't go anywhere if we can't push it to real stores and use, to start this process quicker and because we understand that not every merchant will have an altcoin ready system we are developing an Aegis debit card. This will be something similar to what Xapo (https://xapo.com/in/campaign/debit/) will push out for Bitcoin (bitcoin doesn't has this yet!) and we expect to have it ready in 1 to 2 weeks tops. An Aegis credit card will let you use Aegis in ANYPLACE that accepts debit cards and will be linked to an aegis online account that automatically converts Aegis to USD when you're paying for something. Our biggest problem has been actually making the cards but this should be solved soon.

We are also looking for a designer to design the cards, we wanted to make really simple ones but the team is not happy with the design. So if you're interested and are a designer contact us.

Guys stop panicking, same dump happened 6 days ago. Those dumps are by people that just mined hard and found 2k a good price to dump w/e they mined. The buy walls were very thin that's why it went that low. Initial dump was around 3 btc (lol  :D) and 2nd dump was the panic sells from noobs so hold your coin and don't panic sell because someone decided to dump -.-. Devs seem active and promise to deliver things soon so just take advantage of the low price and buy more coins ;)

I just remind all. However its a good opportunity to buy #AGS!

You have provided a roadmap with some great ideas and integrations from other coins but I think many in the community are skeptical. That should be no surprise to you given the state of crypto in general.

One request that I think might help and bring in new investors is to legitimize yourself. In the end investors are essentially investing in the dev team.

"Dev" guy had 4 BTC or so as a support wall, got dumped on, now complains that he has "cheap coins", dumps project.

If that is what unfolded today haha oh man there are so many things wrong with that.

These so called devs go around making scams and nothing happens. They talk to pools, maybe exchanges but you never hear anyone saying anything. They are just as terrible as the dev scammers. What they fail to understand is that their are people already investigating these type of scam, insider trading.
