Title: Rockminer and Zeusminer on the same machine
Post by: hehejo on July 06, 2014, 06:18:40 PM
Hi folks,

my problem is, that I have a Rockminer R-Box and a Zeusminer Blizzard. I want to let them run on my netbook. But when I install the UART driver for the Blizzard it overwrites the previously installed drivers for the Rockminer (Zadig).

Does onyone of you know how to solve this problem?

Best regards from Germany, hehejo.

have you tried running separate instances of cgminer?

yes of course, but then the rockminer doesn't get detected

When you type in

ls /dev/*USB*

do you see all the devices listed?

maybe I should have mentioned, that I'm on a windows machine.

The problem is, that when I install the Zeusminer driver it overwrites the Zadig driver, so I can't run them at teh same time.

you have 2 and 1/2 options

1) get multiner and run the zeus with cgminer  and rockminer with bfgminer

1/2)  like 1 with no GUI on this way you can do any thing the you like with CONF file's

2)connect the 2 of them  install the drivers open the zadig (all divices) disconect the zeus replace the driver for the rockminer com port only .. open the mod cgminer for the rock ..   conect the zeus and open a regular cgminer for him after the rock is detected..
