Title: Bitcoin as the basis for international transactions?
Post by: commandrix on July 07, 2014, 03:28:47 AM
This could work guys...I might have mentioned once or twice that Bitcoin can be good for international trade. But do you think that Bitcoin could actually become the base currency for heavy-duty international transactions the way Russia and China buy and sell to each other using the U.S. dollar now? That way nobody has the "embarrassment" of using a rival's fiat as the base currency. It's just Bitcoin.

That seems like a really really long way off to me.... like 20+ years, but I suppose it's possible.  I think it would be a smart way to conduct business, but for the entire world to get on board with btc is a daunting task.
