INTRODUCTION

- Welcome to official Navajo Coin Foundation thread. This is where all Navajo Fund members will meet, discuss and create the future of Navajo Coin.

The Navajo Fund was founded to improve Navajo Coin and let all it's holders affect and shape the coin which they are holding and are a part of. We want Navajo Coin to be the people’s coin and unlike any other coin. The Fund will allow anyone to decide on their coin’s future by voting and choosing what to donate for. You can join Navajo Fund simply by donating the minimum donation amount - 0.05 BTC to the Navajo Fund wallet. The reason we have set this minimum is to prevent spam and make sure the people who shape this coin are ones that care about its future. Together, in this thread we will decide on what we will spend the raised money and what are the priorities on which we should focus at the moment.

- Navajo Fund has 2 classes of donation addresses:

The first class is the Navajo Coin Foundation Trust and it has only one address. The people who donate to this address choose to give the foundation the power to invest in what the foundation think is best. It will also be the address you have to donate to in order to gain membership.

The second class is Navajo Coin Purpose Trust. It has a several addresses:

for example one for the website, one for the logo, one for the forum etc. People can choose what their donation will be used for. This also gives a chance to those who do not necessarily want to be part of the foundation a chance to make their voice heard.

- The reason we are currently not accepting Navajo Coin for donations is to have no effect on the price when there is a need to sell and pay for some service. This is very important as the situation is very delicate at this early stage.

- Different titles/ranks are available in the Navajo Fund. Every donator gets the "investor" title after he/she sends first donation (minimum 0.05 BTC).

You can earn different titles if you can do something more for Navajo Coin - for example if you are a programmer, designer etc.

- Every member gets the amount of BTC he/she donated to the Navajo Fund, next to his/her name.

Procedure for becoming a member:

To become a member, the minimum donation of 0.05 BTC or more has to be made to the Navajo Coin Foundation Trust. You then have to PM the SUM2dev account with the Tx id, the amount sent, and the date.

Members who do not wish to make their donation amount public can either request so via the PM and only the min amount will be displayed next to their name or first send the minimum amount and then send as much as they want in different transactions.

- All the members of the SUMv1 Foundation have already been added. The original SUMv1 foundation is address is SZj8yxVx7GqcjhDcZpJtZ1Qa5N9cvGYqHR and currently holds 61012.27273477 unswapped SUM1 coins. The wallet has been staking and you can verify that all the outputs that occured were part of staking. The person who holds the private key to that address is former fund administrator gpuminer. We have contacted him but we are yet to receive a response. Therefore it has been decided that those funds had been frozen in that wallet and monitored. The 61012.27273477 had been awarded to the new Navajo Coin Fund address: sSgQ6KiRj6ZKgyP3ghKn8tXUa5zNan134J.

The unswapped coins had been sent to this address after the coinswap ended on the 26th of june and our great DEV soopy452000 released the swap report.

These coins are not expected to be used for the foreseeable future and their use will be decided by the Foundation.

Transparency scheme: Our head DEV Soopy452000 is currently in charge of the fund addresses. No funds will be moved before an official explanation addressing the amount and purpose is posted. Logs of all addresses will be available to the public.

https://blockchain.info/address/1JGXCDgLAvVFNDJETuLsA7obTgu4JThFfD

0.2 BTC from the BTC donation wallet was sent as an advance to the official Navajo Coin website coder.

We will inform the community about all donation wallets transactions

As far as I can see, you have no affiliation with the real Navajo people.

Do you guys not understand that naming your coin "Navajo" and misappropriating symbols of Navajo culture in your promotional imagery is ethically wrong?  If your coin goes anywhere, the real Navajo are going come and get you, and it won't be pleasant.

you guiys know that these people that the white man called "code talkers" were just guys reading their own native language... no decryption going on there at all. Not to mention the good people that the army "contracted" to "decrypt" were rarely compensated or even recognized for their efforts.

Well... any language could be characterized as code. Sure it means nothing if we all start calling ourselves "code talkers", but the idea in any case was to obfuscate. Who said anything about encryption-decryption?

I don't know about compensation but they sure were recognized

NOTHING ever can or ever will properly compensate and/or recognize the Aboriginals / First Nations of the World for the ongoing genocide imposed on their peoples.

These shitcoin devs are using every theme and gimmik they can think of , in order to get you to part with your hashpower and BTC. WAKE UP !

Where exactly does genocide fit into this thread? I thought I answered a post about the Navajos being recognized for their contribution in WW2

As the Founder of Mazacoin I must caution against using the Dine (Navajo) name like this...When we started Mazacoin I contacted out Treaty Chiefs Council and got their support which we STILL have...because we did this the right way...I'm Cheyenne/Lakota by blood so Im free to use our words as long as it's done for the good of the people...Im not against new coins or trying to shoot down your idea...but trying to capitalize off of the history of the Code Talkers could backfire in a bad way...Mazacoin still remains today the first and ONLY Sovereign coin for a independent tribal nation...my suggestion would be to return to your original name of Summer Coin and focus on marketing

Shut up Payu, you're an actual scammer with your mazacoin bullshit. Telling people CNN is coming to do a story ( which was never in production ). I am Tigua by blood and I will say that you're the asshole for using tribal names to scam people out of a profit. At least this dev has a shred of honesty. Maybe the name might be offensive to some but, as your experiment with the Lakota has shown, natives aren't fucking using crypto currency. I don't care what the hell this coin is called as long as the anon features come through.

P.S. You also have no idea what marketing is or your own shitcoin wouldn't be trading in 20-30 sat range (from a high of 10k...). Suck it.

Hi Guys,

we need to push some things for NAV.

1. Who is responsible for talking to the exchanges? Cryptsy still did not open the market.

2. I would offer to invest some time into NAV for the community. How to get in?

3. Whats with the website? Somebody posted, it's ready, but nothing changes.

regards
shahim

Fund wallets balance update:
A part of NAV coins from Foundation wallets were sold to pay fullhdpixel for coding the official Navajo Coin website.
Fullhdpixel has confirmed that he got the full payment. If You have any question about Foundation coins please send us a private message.

Navajo Coin Foundation - Let's join!

Hello guys! As the admin of Navajo Coin Fund I would like to invite all of You to NAV Foundation. I see many of our great supporters here, which are not the members of the Foundation yet. Also NAV head dev - soopy452000 has finished the first project, which beta tests we have started yesterday (Remember to test and leave us suggestions about the beta client and the new feature! ;) ).
Please remember that soopy is fully fair dev - He doesn't have any premine, IPO etc. - He only can get donations from the Community. Becouse of that remember to donate him for his work - We really appreciate it! :)

This is the dedicated BTC address for Soopy:

Man we are going to the Stars! . Welcome!

It’s better to have quality NAV not quantity NAV - Going to make my NAV count!
And so should you.

The website is pure class and quality is awesome Great work.

Now can we get a technical right up about Soopy our Head Developer on the website.

Full Military speaks about everthing . Soopy can you do this for us! .

We need to shine the spotlight on you!

We need to create a timeline ! Good work guys for everthing done so far

We need your help as we are going to Cryptsy and we need to smash this out of the ball park. Soopy , Remy , Package are 110% focused on this task and they are going to get it right.

We need you yes you. You may think you just buy NAV/ BTC but no we need you to.
We want to blow Transpercy out of the park
We have no Premine , no IPO how to fund everthing. We need every member of the community to lift there game 110%. Lots of hands will make this task easier and bring benifts to us all

1. Can you fix the RICHLIST on page one. Still needs to be fixed

2. Can you create a timeline Template - ASAP   EDIT this is now being updated by Package when he gets clear idea on time frames on the website

3. Can you create a benefits of joining the foundation statement - ~soopy~ gives the foundation regular updates . The broader community gets only a final update announcement when all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed - This is mostly done Sum2Dev - Would be awesome for you do add that we get regular updates of progress somewhere in the statement for the Development community https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=680884.0

4.Do the basics first- wallet fix and then Anon - Extra features can wait - voting date for foundation needs to put on the timeline or we can do when we have meet current project goals.

5. Finances -who can do the books for us - Fund Raiser is a major hurdle

6. PR - WWW - articles

7. Concerns and doubts we want to know - attention to me - any question is not off limit

8. Who can get us on https://www.cryptocertify.com/ whats required - checked this and there is a cost 0.4 BTC for full pakage for ~soopy~ . Thats up to him

9.What have I missed let me no - Im supper busy at work this week . But I don't care . This comes first

Please PM me or write it in the forum space attention ~hashforce101~ and I will send them to SUM2Dev as things are ramping up.
No use buying more and more NAV if you have over 500k. Like me its better to join the foundation and spend my money on making NAVAJOCOIN and my NAV worth more not just buying more and more.
Lets do this right and not what for others to do it!

Even though I am tired of the constant cheerleading, I honestly do believe that Soopy will pull through for us. It sucks that constant communication isn't really his style, but at least he is consistent and has pulled through in the past. Linux wallet repair then anon and the price/volume will bounce back.

I am no coder, but perhaps I could donate to any bounties that could aid in development?

On this idea I would like to contribute also - but it needs to be a foundation based held wallet . I know others will as well.

I can donate NAV / BTC easy but not BTC as its a pain to get in sydney and it takes a couple of days - very good idea.

i will give 10,000 NAV if this goes ahead

Do we have a NAV wallet for foundation - selling these coins on the open market at current buy price is fine with me to raise funds. The more we perform the higher the price we get from these donations for bounties - win win situation.

I suggest going forward, when a wallet is released, it should be hosted at http://www.navajocoin.org/ and not on dropbox.  It's a perception issue IMO. "How can NAV be worth investing in if they can't even host their own files??"

Another argument for my suggestion.

While no password is needed to get the files I'd still steer clear of using the site.

We are nearing the biggest update NAV has ever seen.  Please tell me this concern has been addressed.
Concern #2 is that the data folder is still summercoinv2

If these 2 things are not fixed for the 3/9 build, push the release date and fix them.  If you want the market cap to rise then these two issues must be fixed before any new release as they pose a great threat to legitimacy.

I suggest going forward, when a wallet is released, it should be hosted at http://www.navajocoin.org/ and not on dropbox.  It's a perception issue IMO. "How can NAV be worth investing in if they can't even host their own files??"

Hi,

I have uploaded the new wallet download to our webserver and changed the Link on the website.

Has NAV been certified yet?

That's a great idea to start bringing confidence back

I think that a certification can be a good reputation into the coin, plus their website will link to navajocoin.org which is one of the basic SEO tactics to rank high on Google and other search engines.
