I'm selling a laptop.
Are you sure it isn't going to be a raffle later?

It's a new laptop. It's been plugged in and running for almost a month now and I've used it a total of 2 times to work with a friend who had to leave Korea.

It's a Sony Vaio VPC EL26FK/B Black with Korean/English keyboard.

North Korean or South Korean?

South Korean, although the alphabet is identical for the record.

Uploading photos now.

Starting to think you're serious. Not sure how much so.

I'll start off with 10BTC + I demand a pleasant surprise included.

As you can see, it works for both Korean and English.

Currently the Korean version of Windows 7 is installed. Feel free to format it and install your own operating system.

This is a recent Korean listing for this laptop brand new shown in Korean won.

Use xe.com to convert it.

I paid about 750,000won for it a month ago in Lotte Dept. store.

That's something like $672 or 137 BTC.

I have not yet sent in any warranty information etc.

A note to newbies: I'll obviously be providing the power adapter etc, everything the box had in it, but understand that the default adapter end is for a Korean plug. You will need to purchase a different head or just use a converter to charge it.

Again, this is actually not even a month old and it's just been sitting there running doing nothing. (That is why I felt guilty and decided to sell it).

I'll go 35btc just to make it interesting. Don't have a Korean/English keyboard and it would be hilarious at work.

As it is, the highest bidder would be getting this brand new laptop for less than $200.

Okay, two thoughts...

One: I am now definitely the second weirdest guy around. Santa Furries, Puppy Sushi Kimchee and karaoke all within the same six minutes? You are dangerously disturbed. And I respect you for that.

Two: should my adventures ever lead me to Korea, or at least a green screen projected background that looks a whole lot like Mokpo-nun Hanguda, then you are the tour guide that I want to work with.

Post an actual closing time for my new laptop would you? I want to be sure to be here to snipe a last second bid, I need that machine to translate a couple of films for me.

The closing time for the laptop is exactly 168 hours after I said "7 days from this moment".

So right now I guess a nearly $700 brand new laptop is going to be going for like $200? Ridiculous...

You should sweeten the deal with smokes and a random south korean trinket.

Not a bad idea. Although I think the deal will be "zour" for me if it doesn't reach at least 120BTC.

Maybe I could do some kind of tiered rewards thing, like if someone gets a certain BTC level, I throw in something. Make sense?

I hadn't actually thought of that.

I think I'll wipe the drive before I send it. Although there is probably nothing on there other than Big bang videos or something.

Was actually counting on recovering a wallet..
