Title: BFGMiner help
Post by: Rypert on July 08, 2014, 12:32:33 PM
Hello, my BFGMiner is only showing the 3 erupters out of 4 that i'm running, meaning the main page when i close all the options, however when i press up and down buttons it shows me that the 4th miner is active, is there a command that i can put in to show all the running devices on the main page of the BFGMiner?

THanks in advance

What OS are you running?

have got a print-screen or video of what you mean?

In Windows does it list them all in Device Manager?

In Linux have you tried seeing if all 4 are listed in lshw?

I assume its windows and bfgminer - is the command prompt window big enough?

this is what i see on my screen, at this moment i run 2 Antminers U2 and 2 regular erupters, but it shows me the first 3 ports and then when i press the "down key" i see statistic for the 4th erupter, but it's not on the main list, seems like i have a limitation of 3 devices showing in the window. is there a way to make it show me all the devices i have running?

i'm running BFGminer on Windows and it's not letting me make the owndow bigger, it's the set size... is that something i can change?

Please help, i have 2 more hubs coming to me tomorrow, and i'd like to cennect more miners, but it's annoying not to see them all running.

Thanks in advance!!!

You could try upgrading to the newest version of bfgminer - 4.4.0 is out now.

You could try increasing the command prompt screen size.

left click the command prompt icon on the top left of the command prompt (the one you can double click to close the window)

Select defaults

Select layout and increase the height from 25 to 30 in the screen size section.

Click OK

Close all command prompts and reload.

On a side note are you over clocking your antminers with this command in the bat file that launches it?

Quote
--set-device antminer:clock=x0981

It will make it run at just over 2Ghash instead of 1.6Ghash

(I'm running 24 Block Erupters and 1 U1 Antminer)

If you're running a fan blowing on them (massivley recommended) - the overclock makes no difference - the U2 are the same stock chip with the overclock automatically applied. (it only affects the antminers btw)

good luck with the BFL kit.
