I did a search and saw what kind of GB's were available for the S3, and how there is seemingly none going on. For those wanting to buy just one unit, you may want to look into what I am offering, as its cheaper than Ebay/Amazon/ect, and we're accepting all major forms of payment, including credit cards, unlike all other vendors that I've seen (sans EBay/Amazon charging 10% above what we're asking).

I am placing another order for AntMiner S3's. Yet again, you can use our store to purchase them using Credit Cards, Amazon Payments, or GoCoin. For larger volume orders, we can do a wire + a sizable discount on volume orders. The price starts at $450 USD per unit. As per BitMain, this would ship to us on August 7th, and then ship to you on/around August 10th or 11th, depending on when they clear customs.

We are offering a refund program if in case we miss the batch 5 target. If they sell out/move to Batch 6 and reduce the price, we will offer a discount directly proportional to whatever discount they make. This way, if you get the product late, you get a discount (assuming BitMain reduces the price).

The fiat price is $500 USD each, or about 0.78 BTC including FedEx Group shipping (2.5% off for BTC orders) in the US.

Unlike other GBs, I've already fronted the money to BitMain to pay for the first 55, which was completed today. We don't have the S3's on Amazon yet, as I really don't like doing pre-orders on Amazon. Otherwise, I can probably ask a few BTalk users to come to this thread to vouch for me otherwise.

Where are you shipping from?  Are these from batch 1?

he is letting you order 1 machine and use a credit card at the best price on earth . (for non btc orders)

so if you want 1 machine order from him.  use your credit card and wait.

I can vouch for him. I've been doing business with Ben for well over a year and I also ordered over $10k of gridseeds from him a few months back when he was one of the first to get the bulk pricing on them in the US. Never a problem with any transactions.

Benjamin, please, let us know from which BATCH are you selling S3s -> BATCH 1/2/3 ? Thank you very much.

BitMain stated to me it was Batch #3 with a shipping date (to our facility) between July 20-22nd. Shipping from Ohio, USA.

This is all correct. If anyone is worried, you can always call us. We really haven't done a lot of AntMiner business, until the very end of the S1, and we've had a lot of capital freed up lately to try and persue more S3 sales. We're working on creating a much larger and more robust presence in retail sales, so hopefully this is the first post of a lot more. Generally, I don't post here because I sell out of everything when its offered (I've done Blue and Red Fury pre-orders before, but generally hate pre-orders unless I know the factory will ship when they say they will).

And like Boldar said - the idea behind this is to offer legitimate fiat payments for S3's at reasonable rates. On Amazon, I know they are going for $50-100 more due to the Amazon tax. This allows us to sell at the most rock-bottom prices. But I do plan on raising the prices to $525-550 if we have any left when we take physical delivery of the batch.

here is my deal I have 2 paid for in  batch one. I ordered in the first hour or so of orders.

  I decided I need a third, but not a fourth.  I would like to reserve one and pay for it when I get my first 2.

 Since  the first 2 should come days ahead of batch 3  we should be good.

 If they come and have a crazy bad issue I would cancel the reservation.

If they come and they work I would pay for the one I reserved from you.

God help me.  I won some cash gambling this morning. I will buy one of these as soon as I get the cash to the bank Monday, if they are still $500 and in stock.

 I have an amazon visa I get 3%  so it is almost as cheap as direct from bitmaintech. 500 - 3%

 is 485 a unit  pretty good.

Just checked out the site and it looks like I can pay with my amazon visa.

Honestly I was stressing over the huge BTC Purchase I made prior to S3's releasing but now I'm stoked about my purchase.

okay now that bitmaintech has announced the gear will not hash at 478 it will hash at 441.  and they offer a 7.7% refund or a 10% coupon  what does your 500 usd price turn into?

Note I have not purchased one from you as of yet.

 So  will you drop  5% to 475  keeping a piece of the cash refund for your self

or do you drop    7% to 465    keeping a very small part of the refund for your self

or lastly do you go to 450 giving the full total coupon discount.


Not to fault you this is why preorders suck.


I have 2 on order with bitmaintech.  I ordered them in the first 20 minutes of batch 1.

I need to know your plans  for the refund/coupon  that bitmaintech is giving to you .  I then need to figure do I order 1 from you at a better then 500 usd price.

Or do I take 2 coupons from bitmaintech and buy in batch 4.

When we were doing the first mass production, we found that not all of the S3’s DC/DC module could be stable enough to support the 478GH/s speed. After long time testing, all of the S3 run stably at 441GH/s, which however is 7.7% less than the 478GH/s we have announced.

So we decide the final specification of ANTMINER S3 here:

Hash Rate: 441 GH/s or more
Power Consumption: about 340 Watt at the wall when running at 441GH/s
Power Efficiency: 0.77 J/GH on wall
Power Supply: 12V DC
Size:  331 mm x 137 mm x 160 mm
Fans: Two 14038 fans mounted on both front and back ends.
Operating Temperature: 0 °C to 35 °C
Complied with: FCC / CE
Network Connection: Ethernet

Many of the customers may be lucky to find that their S3 can be overclocked to 478GH/s.

We apologize for this incident. We offer two options for customers:

1)   10.0% worth of coupon for the B1~B3 customers. This is the default option. (10% based on what you have paid for the B1~B3)
2)   7.7% worth of refund. We will release a function on our official website for application of this option. If you have bought from our resellers, please contact them and provide your Bitcoin address.

Shipping schedule updated:

Batch 1: The shipping will be finished in 14th and 17th.
Batch 2: It will be shipping out between 18th and 19th.
Batch 3: It will be shipping out between 19th and 22nd.

I have an E-mail in to BitMain to see how the coupon can be redeemed, and go from there. I can't really make a decision until I have an option to utilize with their company. For example, I have no clue when Batch 4 would commence to apply a coupon towards, so there's a potential gamble for my company there. But as soon as I get word from BitMain on how I am to proceed, I will contact everyone that's ordered, and make a decision on future sales/ect.


LIKELY, what I will do is give the full 10% discount to everyone that has ordered by the end of the day, assuming BitMain informs me of the coupon options by EoD. So I would suggest to order now, as I am near-certain that unless BM screws me over (which is unlikely), I will drop the price to $450 for everyone that has already paid.. But likely keep the price @ $500 for new customers as I am still selling them at a reasonable speed. 

An understandable move.  Most likely I will end up buying two in batch 4 and use the coupons from them.  I had preferred only 3 pieces two from them and one from you.  But with them giving me coupons I will end up buying two from them.

Two left on the site. I am keeping the price of $500 for all new orders, as our competitors are still way higher than us even after the rebate. All purchasers prior to the change in hash rate have been refunded $37.50 per S3 that was ordered.

Not bad for the early buyers. I got my shipping info for the two I ordered. Direct from them.  They arrive on friday.

If you feel that way, feel free to purchase from any of our competitors. Our prices are still lower than any other major offering that accepts credit cards. I was planning on raising the price to $550.00 once we got close to selling out, as we've almost went through our entire allotment of 55 units. But instead I've kept the price the same to hedge against selling out so quickly.

On topic: We got confirmation from BitMain that the S3's are en-route to me. It looks like they haven't been scanned in by UPS quite yet, but given my dealings with them prior to this, it should happen at sometime today.

As soon as BitMain provides us details about future availability. As soon as Batch 4 details emerge, we will begin to accept orders for it. Likely, I will front >$25,000 on the next batch, and see what everyone else would like to add to that, to hopefully provide a better discount for us all.

Just got confirmation from UPS that the S3's are currently being reviewed by customs. I was hoping they'd get here earlier than this, but we're looking at (likely) a Monday delivery date. If so, I'll work on processing shipping on Saturday, most likely.

Speaking of the S3, you might want to edit the description.  The S3 is 340W at the wall for 441GH/s... not the 366 you have listed.

I would try to get the prices even cheaper, but I can't get the units in the quantities needed to get a really good deal. BitMain offered me a KILLER deal on S1's just before the phased them out, and I swore I'd never (not) try to build up a good business with them ever sense.

Batch 3 has been delivered. I am getting labels on the units so FedEx can come pick them up. All purchasers of Batch 3 should get tracking E-mailed to them today. If they do no, let me know.

I received my 8 Antminer S3's from you today.  They are all currently up and hashing!  One of them had a damaged fan, but I unscrewed and loosened the grill and it appears to be working just fine now.  Thanks Benny! I appreciate all your hard work!

Benny have you had issues with card processing? I had issues with Megabigpower.  Bank would bounce or double charge.  

Edit:
I put in a call to make sure they processed this one. They said it’s clear as of today and should show as such by tomorrow 8 AM for the merchant.  Order placed on the 31st.  This is a lot better than trying to buy Bitcoin stuff last year.  Double charged, withheld funds, returned payments.  Bank Of America was the worst.

I spoke to Ben over the Phone.  I was going to ask for a refund my order of 3 but I am going to let it ride.  Thanks Ben for answering the phone.  I had ordered a cable as well with my order.  Ben informed me it will ship out around the same time the Ants do.

No clue as to why the site went down - its back up now. I think this has happened only once before since we launched the site over a year ago.

I got an E-mail from BitMain yesterday - it looks like we made the deadline for B6, and they are shipping now. I just got tracking numbers, and will be sending them to everyone early tomorrow (as I'm at Cryptolina, and can't pull all the #s right now).

Any update on these? I ordered on the 26th of July and don't have tracking information as of today. I have received two other units that were ordered well after these which does not make sense.

I am looking into this now. BitMain was supposed to ship direct to every person in the US with 2 or more units ordered. Once I track down shipping, I will figure out whats going on - at worst case scenario, I'll be sending 2 units via FedEx to you today.

Are we supposed to get a refund for slipping batches?

I already got mine from the B5 order, and sent him an email.  Got my refund within a few days to the address I specified in the email.
