Holland have better defense and stronger counter-atack. The Argentina team is too Messi and Di Maria based, as a whole they are inferior to Netherlands, imo.
Plus Argentina did not really good against Swiss and Belgium, in my opinion.
Also Di Maria is out of the match.

Nearly the entire Dutch defense still plays in the Dutch eredivisie. We strengthened our defense with numbers because it's not our strongest suit. Also it was us who struggled with Costa Rica, not the Argentinians.

You are correct Argentina really struggled against Switzerland. Even after they scored and there was little time remaining you saw the terror in their eyes when Switzerland tried to attack (and nearly scored). I agree Argentina also does not have a string defense and I heard they too want to play with 5 defenders tomorrow (for the first time). They did beat Belgium quite easily though. Di maria being absent is a good thing. For the Netherlands there are rumors Nigel De Jong will play which will make the midfield of the Dutch much stronger.

I will say that Germany beats Argentina in the final 2-1. I just hope the Germans didn't use up all their bullets against Brazil! I think whoever Brazil plays in the consolation game will end up beating them. Any spirit that they had for this World Cup was basically destroyed by Germany!

Brazil lost against Germany 1 to 7.

Have to go with Germany after that dismantling. Their Defense is just too strong and their goalie is even better  :D

Yea after watching that go down today I am going to say Germany.

I'm pretty sure he has been eager to score the whole world cup. Doesn't mean he will score anymore though. :)

In general being eager to score is not a good thing as it can cloud your judgement away from passing the ball to someone in a better position to score.

Germany is favourite, but at this time I hope Argentina wins.

Well I will stick with my pick earlier but change the score to 3-1 Germany! I wasn't very impressed by Argentina, but do hope that its a competitive game!

I think Germany wins without braking a sweat and Brazil beating the Netherlands. European teams don't care about the 3rd/4th playoff and van Gaal will probably give some of the subs a go in the team.

Hm it is hard to say.
Argentina is very strong team.
They play better from game to game.
But problem is that Germany is strong in almost every game.
I think we will see great match.
Both teams deserved to be in the final.

If Germany play like they did the last game then Argentina will get destroyed. Argentina have been pretty boring throughout the tournament and especially in the last game. I'm really looking forward to the third place play off now. I think Holland will beat them comfortably too.

Yeah, if you would have said the Dutch would reach the semi finals at the start I would have been satisfied, but come one: Spain, Chile and Mexico are better than the Argentinian team.

Kind of hoping Argentina take's it but I think Germany is just far too strong honestly.

Well it was a close one! Although I didn't root for them because they defeated the dutch team. I sympathized most with them, choosing between the remaining teams after the quarter finals.

Too bad one of the smaller countries didn't win. Would have been so cool, Germany is boring. And Neymar gone Brazil gone.
