Title: The $1000 Stake Challenge!
Post by: Stake Challenger! on July 09, 2014, 05:48:01 AM
Hey everyone!

This is going to be my POS trading trading journal. My aim is to turn $1000 into $2000 by trading my stake and coins and within a 6 month time frame double my money.

If a coin spikes up and I make it back early then I will keep trading and maximize the profit(who knows how far I can go with this :)). While in the world of crypto 6 months can seem like a lifetime a potenital 200% yearly return on investment I believe is more than adequate. I hope you guys follow my journey, create your own portfolios and join in!

Later today I will be posting my current picks and the percentage amount I have bought into each along with some thoughts.

In the crypto world things are measured in hundreds of percent gains and losses most of the time. Especially in a year, a 100% profit is very realistic.

I started off poor, now I am not. I trade for a living. Although I am not rich yet, if my gains stay the same, I will be.

It's like the story of if you started with a penny and could keep doubling it. That was me.

I'm going to watch this thread. Be careful. Never go all in. You can win a million times, and still only have to lose once. No matter how great an opportunity seems, only put in a fraction.

Thanks for the support guys.

Here's my current portfolio and reasoning:
$1000 bought me 1.61 BTC and I've been slowly filling my portfolio over the last few days. I was lucky to snap up a few bargains while some people dumped well below market rate. Almost feel like I should make this a $2000 stake challenge but I'll stick to my original plan, for now.

https://i.imgur.com/46WkZEe.pngCAP - 20%- Very nice buyers market at the moment. I've put in some buy orders waiting for people to dump. This is because of the increase of supply due to people staking mature coins on date of fork, supply should dry up sooner rather than later as the 30 day+ stake time.  ~200% interest per year.

I have included the links to each thread below if readers are interested in the coins latest developments.

Others coins I'm looking into are NVC and PHS HYPE(maybe a very small % of my portfolio but I will see first).

Currently unallocated- 20%

So far I have filled a decent portion of my positions but still need to fill in around the edges here and there. Will keep you updated.Currently want to have a portion unallocated just in case I spot some investment opportunities. 20% is a bit large to have not staking but I will change my position around as I see fit.

nice portfolio. You should keep some of your bankroll in BTC just in case you get a nice dip in any of your positions. That way you can average down and build up a bigger core position. Stake and compound, trade in and out of your core position. Never go all in and all out, unless it is a part of your trading plan.

STICK TO YOUR TRADING PLAN!

It should help negate the greed/fear factor that 99% of traders/investors experience, which results in losses.

Don't forget to encrypt/backup your wallet and keep the blockchain going. Best of luck!

Just for a laugh, and for a bit of sneaky NXT promotion.....I've just got my dirty little paws on another $1000 worth of NXT.
This translates to slightly over 21.000 NXT, but I'll call it an even 20,000, just to give the OP a little head start.....

Lets see where we all are in 6 months time.  8)

Oh, yeah. Keep some BTC, whatever else ya do. BTC is gonna be a good bet for a long time to come ,and like tokyoghetto sez...trading back and forth on the dips is a good way to maximise your profits.

I'm not going to trade my 20,000 NXT, though, just let it sit and grow fat........

Anyone else want to play?

I don't really like to share any of my alt coin insights and strategy, because why ever would I want increase competition on myself?
However, seeing as you appear to be a newbie on a path of certain loss, I will share a couple of things.
For what its worth, I never use my own money to trade. Using only BTCs earned from doing graphics work in this forum, I made about 3.9BTC in June.

1. First and foremost, long term investment strategy in most alt coins is madness. Unless coins have specific monetary use (excluding dice games or any of that nonsense), do not make any 'long term investments' beyond the obvious few coins. Developers can disappear in a flash, exchanges can suddenly delist a coin, PoW coins can become PoS ones, bagholders withdrawing from a coin can crash the price to single digit sats overnight - many things can happen in an unregulated, highly centralized (ironic, isn't it?) environments.

2. With most altcoins, there are zero reliable fundamentals to base any decisions on. The key is to stay ahead of the curve.

3. There is no 'buyer's' market in altcoin. There are only bagholders whose sole interest lie in clearing their own stash - and they will sing the most beautiful melodies to achieve that.

4. At exchanges, enter early and exit at the second or third peak. You can sometimes gain more by holding, but more often than not, you will lose.

5. Avoid coins where the OP have limited ability to articulate themselves. They probably just hired someone to make the coin. Avoid China-related coins for now, because most of them are being produced and pumped by one group. Avoid developers who rarely posts and lack manners - lack of professionalism will extend to how they manage their coins.
(Funny incident: Today, as I read the PM of a dev, I realized that I had corresponded with the same person, under a different name, 4 days earlier - for a different coin. He launched 2 coins within six days!)

6. When you see coins being pumped, hitch a ride - but always get off at logical spots (lunch breaks, end of day, etc.) Don't leave pumped coins overnight - you might miss the harvesting phase.

7. Never invest what you can't afford to lose.

Interesting discussion taking place already.  I like what rugrats had to add to the discussion.  Some great advice.  Now only if we can get rugrats to share some of those coins worth investing in.  ;)

I tend to agree don't leave your coins in on alt coin you haven't done your due diligence on and even then proceed with caution.  Best to check out the old charts of a coin and get a good idea of where the coin is going and what a good price point to buy/sell would be.  There is alot of risk in the alt market and to learn but I think also alot of potential profit for the smart traders.

For record keeping sake.

https://i.imgur.com/46WkZEe.pngCAP bought roughly at ~ 2850 sats
11250 coins
https://i.imgur.com/zCkh6kE.pngGRW bought roughly at ~ 115
70000 coins
https://i.imgur.com/VFLr6M7.pngHBN bought roughly at ~ 7400
6500 coins
https://i.imgur.com/36GIa0x.pngTEK bought roughly at ~3250
1250 coins

Trades were above and below prices but these are what they average out to be and were a mix of market and private sales. I went slightly over my TEK budget but only by a minor amount.

First trade:
Sold ~1GRW@ 176.

153% profit on first trade, you read it first here! Amazing profit levels without even staking!

because you are on the wrong forum to say that  you need to be on CNN where people either don't know or don't care that Bitcoin is totally price manipulated by a mining monopoly.

so how can anyone find "value" in a screwed with "market" ?

sorry for disagreeing but that looks like buying in at the top of a manipulated market to me mate.

First update!

Well not too much to report but all my coins have been stored away to gain some pretty little stake for me :)
I've worked out I should probably get my first stake of Hobonickels sometime between now and the 19th. So less than a week away!

I'm happy with my picks so far, this is not a get rich quick trading plan, its all about consistent and safe gains hence the modest target. While there's been nice dips and highs in the market I've stopped myself trading on them and I put my coins away to gain stake age as soon as I could. It will be nice to see how this staking investment works in practice instead of on paper.

Heres the update on my 20,000 NXT...current market price is $0.0451 (from coinmarketcap), so my $1000 is now $902. Ooopps..... :'(

Still, we've got some serious developments coming up with NXT in the next week, so I think I'll hodl for a while longer.

Update 2.

I've received my first stake! I was just quietly sitting at a cafe and my Hobo nickels decided to start coming through. I was pleasantly surprised my total first stake equaled 132.837 HBN. A nice thought as it was enough to pay for my sandwich and coffee I just ordered. I have decided to compound this stake for now. The markets still a good time to buy in so I think I'm going to wait before selling my stake for coffee( although I look forward to the day :) ), I'm only roughly in my first week out of 6 months! I have just now loaded up my GRW wallet and as I type its just started staking as well.

I have to admit its quite addicting receiving stake I'm already working out when my next coins are due. The best part is that my 132.837 HBN that I just got will also stake giving me compound interest. The market is still in a downtrend, I've been tempted to increase my positions but have decided to wait and potentially invest in some other coins I've been researching. I don't want to get my money tied up in day trading as this trading journal is supposed to be about long term stable returns. Anyway thats it for now I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for reading:)

And how are my 20,000 NXT doing?
Happily, having a little uptrend recently (ahem  ;D ) and each one of the little darlings is now worth 5.173 dollarcents,
according to www.coinmarketcap.com

This gives me: $0.05173 x 20,000 = $1034.6.
Sweet, 3.4% profit from my start point, and a lot better than last week.

@OP: whats the current dollar value on your portfolio?

Have you looked into NEM, or NXT Like EvilDave mentioned?

You can buy either with BTC real easily here: http://www.secureae.com/ (http://www.secureae.com/)

NEM is worth a lot, and isn't even in beta yet, and Nxt has a crapload of inovation and media attention recently.

STICK TO YOUR TRADING PLAN!

Seconded. I have to confess that I'm still a sucker for shiny-object syndrome, so it's hard for me to stick to my own trading plans. I actually threw away, over several years (mostly in the penny-stock gold-exploration area) a total of six figures' worth of profits simply because I had a hard time learning to discipline myself.

Take from me as well as from tokyoghetto. If you can't stick to your trading plan, provided that you're firing on all other cylinders, you will end up throwing away some big ones. Learn from my mistakes instead of duplicating them!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to say I'm sorry about my hiatus, I have had a rough few months with family illness and subsequent operations that has meant I have had to be travelling and I couldn't keep this journal updated. Good news is everything went well with family and in the meantime while being on the road my coins have giving me interest and staking well( well most of them). There's been some ups and downs with the market but I'm luckily still on the road to profit now things have stabilized. I'll be updating this thread over the next few days detailing how each of my coin picks have been doing, I managed to dodge a bullet or two here and there and had to sell off one of my coins but considering circumstances I'm happy and have been learning a ton! One thing to note is because of the bitcoin price I've decided to split my goals, my first goal is now to double my bitcoin amount in 6 months and my second goal will be to turn it into $2000 at the current market price.

So I just wanted to say a little about what's been happening and what lessons I have learned so far. My biggest lesson by far has been, being too excited to start this journal and thinking I can catch a falling knife :). All my buys were basically in a falling market and because I was so keen to start this trading journal I jumped in instead of waiting for the market to stabilise. This has meant if I had just waited 1-2 more weeks I could be sitting nearly at my goal already but instead I'm probably breaking even'ish.

Nevertheless I am still glad I started when I did because it has made it harder for me and in turn I have had to learn more. I have gotten rid of one of my picks, but I will save that for the coin update sometime in the coming days. My other picks have been interesting so far and I have been thoroughly impressed with the development and the wallets. Also only having a few coin picks means you get to learn the markets really well. I have been having some success trading in between buy and sell orders and buying in small amounts cheaper and selling off in patterns. This has been an interesting avenue and because you know the markets reasonably well tends to work out in your benefit especially when trying to work out when to sell your stake.

I have had one or two really tough decisions though, one involving giving up stake weight for TEK (over a months worth) to sell early as the wallet had issues but luckily I made the right decision. Becides all that I have usually opened up my wallets while having a coffee at my local and love the feeling of seeing my coins come trailing in from my accumulated stake. Now to give you all an update on the coin positions.

Ok first off the bat of my update:
https://i.imgur.com/VFLr6M7.pngHBN
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303749.0

So far so good, Tranz has released two updates already since I bought into this coin, he has even built a block explorer into the client as well which is sweet for checking transactions on the go. Still waiting on the major update which is coming soon. I failed miserably at picking the bottom and bought in at 7400 and it hit around 4000 satoshi bottom but my coins have been staking away which helped offshoot any losses( luckily). It's currently sitting ~6000 but looks poised to move upwards as there has been a lot more interest recently. The POS isn't as high as some of my other picks but the constant updates and development are really impressive, I will continue to compound my stake.

Started 6500 @ 7400 =0.4822 BTC
Current 7855 @ 6000 =0.4724 BTC
Total = -0.0098BTC

Considering I missed the bottom completely(bought in nearly double of the actual bottom) my stake has really helped me to stay on top, Looking forward to the hard fork and will continue to compound this position. More updates coming in the next few days..

good updated - my only advice is don't try to pick a bottom on some of these little coins they will move too quick, you are doing well, and it will average out if you pick quality.

I see upside for Caps ( the only one i own, in your group)  but it won't come quick it will be naturally market driven.

also i'm still assessing HBN and others.

I will likely add Caps to my journal but i want to get more tech specifics about it first, related to the update.

Good work.

Good update, StakeChallenger. I'm also working on a journal too, with my main coins being the same except that I swapped GRW out with HYP. I do own some GRW, but it is surprisingly hard to buy a good amount without moving the market too much.

DigitalIndustry, why do you see future movements in CAP more clear than in HBN? I think both coins are pretty old, but HBN has had Tranz working on it and active development for much longer than CAP does. Last I checked coin counts were pretty similar, but HBN was x4 more expensive than CAP. Then again, HBN is pretty cheap right now anyway.

More and more posts like this are done lately. And I love this! I just started learning more about how to earn something from crypto, so more like this the merrier.
Many thanks, keep us posted and good luck!

Second off the bat is..

https://i.imgur.com/36GIa0x.pngTEK
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320404)

I was put into a bit of a pickle on what to do with this one. TEK ran into troubles with staking JUST as I hit 30 days ready to stake. This was an issue because 40% stake is sweet! But if the price drops below 40% in the short term I am better off selling and rebuying for a profit. I was torn to be honest. When you wait 30 days you become attached emotionally to your interest bearing coins, excited to get your nice chunk of steak at the end of the month :D. I wasn't sure if TEK was going to shoot up or down after this.

After I found out all TEK coins would keep their stake after the update I realised, that is a hell of a lot of newly staked coins on the market( >600,000). I made the right decision and told my self I would sell but wait for the price to hopefully rise above what I bought for it. I dodged a bullet of some sorts so I sold off slightly above my buy in price and managed to buy in on the exchange comkort when people dumped at around 10000. I then read that after the update people weren't receiving their full 40% so I sold off again before staking for a profit @ 17000. I missed the absolute bottom and top but I'm happy I played safe.

All and all good trades, but bad pos month for this coin though. Currently I'm out of the market on this one until I have enough information to reinvest again at a profit.

Started ~1250 @32500 =0.401 BTC
First Sell ~1250 @ 35500 =0.444 BTC   +0.043BTC
Second Buy (comkort) ~3500@ 11000=0.385 BTC
Second sell (comkort) ~3500 @ 17000= 0.593 BTC

Total = +0.251BTC

I am really proud of pulling out of the market when I did but something feels a little bit dirty about coming out so well on top from trading the high/low. This is supposed to be consistent profits from staking, but I guess TEK did throw me a curve ball here, so I'll take what I can get :)

Thanks digital, I have noticed the same thing in CAP, and not wanting to give too much away from my next coin update, but lets just say I managed to pick up a few more for the time being.

And nice journal Crazyloaf, I think your hype pick instead of my grw was a good one, as you will tell from my coming Grw update. I managed to pick up a small position in Hype for cheap (230 sats) and have to admit have been pretty happy with even that small amount :).

Another way to make your investment back and still increase your position, is to utilize S4C. Using the highest auto sell on Cryptys, you will gain BTC, help the market keep liquid, and still stake at a high % thereby gaining even more HBN in the process. You can increase it even more if you put the BTC you gained back on the buy side(at a lower price)!  :o

The full gui beta version is available here:  https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels/releases/tag/1.4.8.0.  As you noted version 1.5 will be released here in the upcoming weeks.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the idea Tranz, I never thought of using Stake for Charity to that end. I will test this out and report back any results in my journal. Great idea. I was wondering are there any plans to get some charities on board and organize some stake 4 charity days for the coin? Could be a way to help out/make a difference to some under privileged people, I'm guessing one day a month where everyone staked for charity could really make a difference be cool a idea/event. I'm looking forward to 1.5 update/fork in the next following weeks  :)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641241.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641241.0)

Well Where do I start, I had high hopes for this coin and things started off well. I was starting to stake but slowly I  ran into problems with the wallet. I think it might of just been me but my frustrations started to build. I would go from a flawlessly running CAP client which staked instantly to a stalling and sometimes semi freezing client which was taking longer and longer update. I was running the Mac client and maybe that's why I had issues. I gave some to my friend and he used the windows client was better but still not great. After all this Unick which seemed like he was doing such a good job and I thought was a great developer basically went MIA. Community is still around on the forum but I'm not so sure what can be made of it so about a month ago I sold off for a loss. If Unick came back and there was a community development plan I would be back in a flash(could be a speculative purchase for the future) but right now, not so much. The small amount I staked helped offshoot the loss slightly though.

Bought 70000  @ 115 = 0.08
Sold     76230  @  80 =  0.061

Total = -0.019

Ok now to my second wildcard pick...
https://i.imgur.com/lWQcKrW.pngHyperstake

A little while ago I mentioned
I have picked up around ~3500 Hyper(750% Pos interest) at a price of around 230 a few days ago. While a tiny portion of my holdings the price was right so I picked up what I could.

It turned out a few months ago I had some spare change in my allcoin account and I had been researching investing in Hype, it was super new and I wasn't expecting much from this pick so I put a whopping 0.00803428BTC buy order in(0.05% of my portfolio). Someone dumped and I picked up 3500 Hype and didn't think too much of it. I threw it into my wallet and opened it up every other week to stake.

The next day being a bit OCD I bought up 497 more Hype @ 252($0.45), so I could rest knowing I had exactly 0.000BTC in my allcoin account. I also noticed a huge buy/sell spread on allcoin and thought I could buy and sell this amount to turn a small profit( i was bored). This turned out to be a quite fun process. As my coins were staking in my wallet I bought and sold Hype at the lows(230) and sold on the highs(1200). Heres the averages of my buys and sells below:
https://i.imgur.com/7N4lxp8.png

Since then Hype exploded over the last week and is currently selling for >3000. I have staked a total of 5126 Hype(normally while sipping my morning latte) for a whopping total of 8626 Hype. I sold 1500 stake @ 1700 recently to be sure to cover my original investment and a profit. Currently I have 7126 Hype and and am due another ~20% stake tomorrow. The wallet works great so far. This was a great pick and has taught me to always try pick up a coin on a low dump when its still in its early stages.

Bought 3500 @ 230 = 0.008
Buy/Sell trade profit ~ + 0.01
Sell 1500 @ 1700= + 0.025
Current 7126 @ ~3000 = + 0.213

Total= +0.248 BTC

Tomorrow I should stake an additional 20% of my Hype coins as well  :D

My next coin update is a coin I feel has gone under the radar and has a lot potential... until then guys safe trading :)

I've been following your post since the beginning - I find this very interesting.

Have you thought about keeping a simple google spreadsheet to help show what coins you invested in and the profits/loss that you've occurred?  It might be good to show your current portfolio and the current value.

I did go from 1000$ in late decembre last year to more than 6000$ now, so I think you objective is quite possible. I mostly made this wealth improvement from the Nxt asset exchange. From time to time, there is a lot of good opportunity there. Do your due diligence before investing because this crypto world attract a a lot of scammer.

Well I'm usually not such an organised person ::), all my notes are written on serviettes while im sitting at coffee shops but a spreadsheet sounds like it could be a good idea.  I'll look into it and send you a link if it all works out, thanks.

Ok next coin update before my monthly summary :D,

https://i.imgur.com/46WkZEe.pngBottleCaps

Well it started off rough, Cap prizes went crazy and with the drop in the market it got pummelled. Oddly though it has turned into one of my favourite coins and slowly as I used the wallet more and more, CAP has grown on me. I'm not sure why but every time I went to stake my CAP, on que my coins would be there staking with little to no orphans(orphans are when POS blocks get rejected as others are staking as well). This has meant I can plan when I will get my stake with CAP a lot better and also has helped me gain more coins by compounding quicker. I think this could be because less people are staking with CAP at the moment(still waiting to be picked up) but the wallets been working like clockwork (Kudos to Tranz). Other coins I open the wallet and there seems like there's always a delay where I'm not sure when the wallet will attempt to stake my coins. For example, for Hyperstake it was common for me to have to wait a few days unsure when my blocks would stake, although they always came through I was just never sure when. I might need to perfect my block sizes for each coin which should help as well. Other than that there seems to be a smaller community than the other coins but this is bound to grow when people start to see the potential for growth Cap has.

Trading
I bought 11250 CAP @ 2850 and it dropped hard to ~<1300 at one stage. I picked up another~4400 Cap on a dump at 1255 planning on it never hitting below 1000sats. Stupidly I forgot to take this out of cryptsy for a while so missed staking these new coins although they are due soon(always remember to check your cryptsy email confirmation!). As I'm typing this I just checked the market and someone has bought up a whopping 45,000 CAP like a few hours ago! Someone got in before I even managed to post this!, seems like the market could be headed upwards(edit Someone bought up 10k HBN as well). I always wanted to buy more CAP when it was in the lows but I told myself, no stick to the trading plan, this is frustrating now in hindsight(hind-sight's always 20/20) but so far this journal has taught me a lot so I guess its worth it.

Bought 11250 @ 2850 = -0.32
Bought 4400 @ 1255 =- 0.055
Total now with stake 19383 @ ~2200= 0.425
Total= +0.05Btc

Ignoring my noob sub par buy in price, I've still come out on top! with its wallet and development (Auto savings feature has been added as well) Bottlecaps has so far impressed.

Next onto my monthly summary. Happy trading guys.

Quick update on my trades/portfolio..

I haven't bought back into TEK just yet, I'm still waiting on a convincing entry point to pop up (I'm sure it will).

HBN has been staking away nicely although a few more days for my larger blocks to stake before I report back.

My Hyper staked a few days ago for about 1660 for a total of 8790. Sold 4000 Hyper at ~2700-2800 to make sure I was in profit. I really wanted to sell at >3000 but there was downward pressure building so I sold off half my coins to make sure to be in the +. +0.11 BTC

Also I Bought 2300 Hyperstake for 2000 on a dump on one of the exchanges. Sold 1500 @ ~2850 and have 800 still sitting on an exchange as price seems like its about to get pushed upwards again (1 BTC buys are appearing on polo! watch this space!).

I've also had some CAP stake over the last few days which has helped me hit my milestone of over 20k Bottlecaps wooo! 652 CAP staked so my total is now 20,035 CAP. Also the price has been slowly creeping, and creeping upwards ("I feel you creeping up , I can see it from my shadow" song keeps playing in my head everytime I check cryptsy).

That's about it from me for now. Safe trading guys.

Portfolio Update:
All my current coins are back higher than my purchase price and my coins are giving me nice returns now. I'm still a bit unsure to reinvest in TEK but so far I am more than happy with the returns from HYP, CAP and HBN not to mention the constant wallet updates. Here is my current portfolio/profit:

HYP- 5590 coins @ 2580 sats= 0.143 BTC
CAP-  20,242 coins @ 2990 sats= 0.603 BTC
HBN- 8155 coins @ 8760 sats = 0.714 BTC
Leftover (profit  and unallocated) = 1.154 BTC

Total Portfolio= 2.614 BTC

Seeing as my original investment was 1.61 BTC that leaves me +1.004BTC in profit :D.

Total profit/goal = 1.004/1.61 BTC
Percentage towards goal = 62%

Latest portfolio update:

I have been super busy lately so I haven't been able to follow the market or buy and sell. Thankfully because staking is soo easy I have still been making money by just opening my wallet every few days. I was initially worried about my investment a few months ago, now I have got the hang of staking it feels like it couldn't be easier. You open your wallet and literally let the money(coins) roll in. Anyone thinking about buying into mining contracts, mining machines or cloud hashing I highly recommend you to seriously look into stake coins such as the ones in this journal, the roi is much more secure and easier to make. Now on to the good stuff:

Portfolio update:
https://i.imgur.com/lWQcKrW.pngHYP - 6590 coins @ 4093 sats= 0.269 BTC
https://i.imgur.com/46WkZEe.pngCAP - 21919 @ 3220 sats= 0.699 BTC
https://i.imgur.com/VFLr6M7.pngHBN - 8415 @ 10200 sats= 0.856 BTC

Leftover (unallocated and profit) = 1.154 BTC

Total Portfolio= 2.978 BTC/3.2 BTC Goal

Percentage towards goal = 93%

Total profit to date = 1.368 BTC

So far I'm nearly at my goal of doubling my BTC investment 3 months earlier than expected! Considering my last update two weeks ago I'm up  over 0.3BTC.

Not bad for essentially doing nothing 8). I have to admit when I first started this journal I was a bit dubious about starting a steady profits investment journal. $1000 was ALOT of money for me to risk in cryptocurrency not to mention I'm usually the kind of "I want results now" type of guy. Now I can say 3 months in I am more than happy with investing through POS coins which provide stable returns. When I first started out in crypto I got burned badly on some IPO scams  and not to mention being caught out in pump and dump coins losing a few chunks of my hard earned bitcoin. Now I can say those days are over for me now, if you are looking for a stable place to put your money which will earn a decent % and give steady returns. Check out some of the coins in this journal, so far it has paid off for me.
