I have a dream...that a crypto will not be judged based on the algo of its script, but by the character of the dev that created it.

Perhaps it wasn’t clearly defined in our announcement the first time around. This coin isn’t your get rich scheme because you (the person whom is concerned with strictly profits) have nothing to gain here. This coin is one aspect of a world-wide empowering philosophy.  We want to show the world, the world. I mean our outlet will allow you to pinpoint your continent, your country, and take a picture and post it. Show the world how it really is to live in (<insert country here>). Do you know how much false realties; ignored world epidemics go unnoticed every day? Well not anymore as  we aim to give people an opportunity to present their view of the same world we all live in.




CamCoin is a revolutionary crypto currency that combines the world of photography, art, webcams, and crypto currency and blogging.

We live in a diverse world where many countries have access to simple photographic technology, but rarely are their photos shared with the world. Our CamCoin team wants to deliver a means where individuals around the world can share the world they see through their eyes for what it really is as opposed to what its thought to be.

Censored media has created a false reality of what is really happening all over the world and the CamCoin team’s goal is provide an outlet where that barrier is lifted and actual reality can be seen and compared in all regions.

The goal is to create an outlet to have users on all seven continents in all the 169 countries around the world to post pictures to showcase realities, truths, and norms.


Our concept is very simple. We want users to be able to send and distribute photos with one another internationally,showcasing how life/reality is for them.

Well, as mentioned through the launch of this coin by myself, money isn't an issue for this project. We want to create something bigger than fiat/crypto currency..something more basic. This will provide a networked source of DATA that can be used to compare health, culture, financial, technological and ethnic information. We are essentially aiming to create a picture reality-textbook of the world as it is (all over) for 2014.

The icon was a statement. You saw the icon, and came to a conclusion, that "what does this have to do with crypto/cam coin?" Exactly our point. Your vision/perception allowed you to make a judgement. The community is so concerned with new features that will be outdated next week, or how quick they can flip for profit. This coin represents the complete opposite of you new features. And a note on new features..being a dev, how many of you whom mine new coins use "new features"? Have you realized you've been getting fooled? You all quickly clearly dump it for BTC.. and never use these features. This feature cannot be dumped or thrown away since it is a concept and idea of empowering individuals worldwide. I wish I could respond to all of you, but each post is 360 sec wait. If this coin angers you, please vent and offer your comments as they serve no ploy in derailing our intentions. As said, this concept is bigger than you or me, but for everyone in the world whom is oppressed and goes unheard/unseen in countries where "its okay, its not happening here, so it must not be happening". Your assuming the miners are the ones whom were trying to satisfy. The POW is short because our website and other features will take roughly 36 hours to complete. We're aiming to cature a bigger audience, not simply miners whom want to dump (and we encourage it! We will buy all the CamCoins for your trouble, since this is bigger than a few BTC.) It is an opportunity to benefit humans of all walks internationally. If this doesn't fit your expectations, I ask you vent your comments and enjoy your day :)

Coins new feature: No new features.

New feature coin = over hyped dumped the following week. Actual use of "new features" 0 times. Times "new features" drew you in to mine/trade/buy a coin thats feature promised something innovative 100%.  Boggles my mind, each time something new comes out, its old, tossed out, and became s out dated. Have you not realized this is a trend? Is there really anything "new" that really matters? It's all a game, and I'm sorry to say it, but new features don't mean a damn thing right now in crypto.
But a coin with new concept..people..reality...possibility. That's a new feature. To want to change a perspective or provide one for someone whom cannot for themselves.. new feature. Do you understand how this feature benefits more than just you, "the traders", bankroll? I have a plan to change the mumbo jumbo, and implement my idea at a loss. I got plenty of BTC, I have no intention of trying to make a dollar of this concept b/c I know the traders mentality is that of exactly yours. I'm establishing the first crypto that doesn't offer any technical advancement for the trader, but for the overall population of the world. Why no new features? It would be cool for example to have a 4chan style board with pictures, descentralized, anonymous. Just like talkcoin, but with pictures.

I like dev's honesty and attitude, I'm in.

New features for the coin itself is irrelevant. Nearly more than half the world is without food, shelter, technology such as a computer. Would it be fair to to focus on some innovation that will be tossed aside tomorrow by another "fancy" non-sense algo? We aim at simplicity. Pictures from around the world, the good/bad sides of reality. Wouldn't you like to know how someone in Japan lives? Or Afghanistan? Compare it to the US? Or Canada? Or France? What is similar? What is different? Our stereotypes true? Are biased inaccurate? Is there equality among all humans everywhere? This is our primary focus. As well, the more simple, the better. We don't want to confuse any walks of life. We simply want people to see people as they live life in their environment. The impact this could have on societies, public relations, and generally social interactions is monumental.

Yeah guys thanks for the support, I'm in a real bad spot here.  I know the roxdev we worked together testing the pos staking a few weeks ago so I should be able to get a straight answer out of him.  We actually talked the other day about me being a node for this new anonymous tor stuff he's been working on so I have no idea how/why he was shitting on camcoin, even if he's the same guy.  If he gives me any shit I can take this over so fast as long as the miners and exchanges support it.

edit:  there was some funny business earlier where the camcoin dev's pool account got locked because someone else logged into it.  The logs showed some ip from Russia so I just assumed it was another pool and we changed the password and e-mail associated with the account.  Luckily his 15k coins were still there though.

More signs that its the same dev dude, camcoin dev is now signed off and roxcoin dev is singed on posting on rox thread.

The whole thing just doesn't make any sense unless they are the same devs. There is no reason to fud on CAM , on ROX .. i could understand. On CAM it is way too early and young all this would do is killing it, that said there IS some buy orders at low prices so who knows..
I am happy supporting anything that will keep the coin going even if the pow is ending up soon regardless but it doesn't really make me want to keep mining for now  :-\

Well the dev has one chance to straighten this out.  I'm giving him one chance simply because he did come to me a day or two back asking why his account was locked and the logs did specifically show someone else logged into his account from another ip, I'll fetch them now and post them here

What my opinion take over it. A few of us had doubts that cam and rox were from the same dev, then today rox dev posts in this thread then claims his account was compromised and someone spreading FUD about camcoin? Really camcoin has no innovation, a shitcoin why would anyone want to spread fud about it? Its not even on an exchange yet.

Please don't believe what the devs say their lying to you, try not to get blinded by your emotions. You invested quite abit into this coin and you'll convince yourself to believe anything the devs say just to avoid realizing that your investment was wasted.

Take this coin over if you think its worth it, you probably have more coding skills then the rox/cam dev and his phoney team of imaginary developers helping him.

Well here's the thing, I could take over the coin right now but I can't promise any innovation or bleeding edge updates.  All I can do is keep it healthy and change some variables, make a nice site for it.  I don't think it has come to this yet tho, because I'm not entirely convinced that they're the same developers, the dev (and only the dev's) account was attacked on my pool, and there's some kind of news in the roxcoin thread that that coin is under some kind of attack, so please don't jump to conclusions just yet.  I'm still very mad, but I pm'd both devs as I've worked with them both now and I want answers.

I'm invested about .6btc for renting hashing, .6btc in buying on the ccex exchange, and I haven't slept in almost 3 days because of my pool.  I was getting a lot of stratum attacks so when that happens you can't leave the computer ever until pow is over, and my coadmin is busy until europe wakes up in 4 hours.

Like so many dozens of coins released in the last month, ROX was intended to be a scam from day one.  Looks like the dev has moved on to Cam coin though.  Hopefully you all are smart enough to stay away from that one.  Its not like you even that screenshot as proof.  The "dev" obviously went through as little amount of work as possible to differentiate the coin from ROX.  The original CAM ann even looks like the original ROX ann.  Similar styles.  

The idea that the account was hacked is absolutely laughable.  

1. Hacker hacks account.  
2. Posts legitimate coin update with wrong account
3. Deletes post when caught.

ERMAHGERD I GOT HACKED.  LOL.  Does anyone expect us to believe that?  Maybe fire isn't directly involved in CAM, but I find it highly unlikely.  He's probably using it as a springboard for his BTC tied up in ROX.

Alright folks, http://cam.chickenstrips.net has turned off stratums.  We ask that everyone withdraw so we can shut the pool down.  This was a successful PoW period, we managed to get half of the blocks.  It would be helpful if folks could help get this on Bittrex.

Xanon coin released today , virtually only one pool mining it,,, yep Binaryclock and company raping the latest coin again,,, and guess what its already listed on bittrex,,, yep no voting required so long as binaryclock tells them his mega miners are all lined up, get it listed and we will be dumping the coins asap, Binary makes a butt load of money today, bittrex will make a ton, and yes all the rig renters will be cashing in, no one else can even begin to mine this coin until the feast is over and they move on to the next coin. We're in no rush to complete this project. Your correct when you say there is no new specifications for the actual coin, as they are present on our announcement page.We kept the coin simple because the idea is bigger than new non-sense technical specs. The concept being creating a community (world-wide) to show their daily life from their perspective is our vision.
