Prefer windows 8. Very fast respond.
Just bought Lumia.

I never tried windovs 8, so my vote would be useless. But Im satisfied with android. What are advantages of 8?

faster, simple, does not support many applications as Android and iOS, but the vast majority of support, a quick response, it is fantastic multitasking, etc.

The Win 8 phones I have tried have been pretty snappy and interface is pretty intuitive.  Not as bubbly as IOS, but not dumbed down.  Obviously customization goes to Android, but most phones I buy for people stay stock.

My iPhone 5S also froze during the upgrade (progress bar was about ⅔ done), but after a hard reset it seems to be working normally with the updated system. I was a bit in a hurry and didn't back up the 5S to iTunes as I normally do, so fortunately nothing was lost. I am going to back up my iPhone 5 and iPad Air to iTunes before I apply the update (all are backed up on iCloud). I have a feeling Apple will re-release this update.

IOS, i love my iPhone.

Android much more accesible by experienced users

I love google anroid
it gives me flexibility of doing every kind of activities and with freedom of no cost .There are loads of games that are awesome there to download
and on the top of that there are some money giving programs too designed to try various anroid based games .

My vote goes to anroid from google

I bought a Nokia Lumia 1520 yesterday, and I already fell in love with the windows phone os. It's fresh, flat, much design. Live tiles is amazing, just read important information without opening an app.

Do you have any cool apps not available on android ?
or can you do anything use Android folk can't do ???

I used nokia all the time, but then i met android.... :o :o have been impressed and i bought it. Now i don't have intention to change unless i get impressed again

Using Samsung S5 at the moment. seems to work better than the S4.. better version of android... less buggy.

I love symbion as well.
I can do everything with it I would do with an android.
and it has no bugs or downfalls.

Android, I feel Apple products are overpriced. Why would I buy a more expensive iphone 5 when I can have Samsung S4 with better hardware?

I really like to use IOS but is easier use android, but is bad that IOS (apple) stuff is really expensive than samsung.

I have an Iphone 4 and I would to change it with an Iphone 5S.

I love my phone, never had any problem.

Android. I just don't get iphone users. You literally can't do anything yet you consider your OS to be superior. Like, you're locked down in every aspect of customization. How is that fun for you? With my android I can install any rom (well I guess you can "jailbreak" iOS) and do ANYTHING with it.

Apple iphone`s OS is simplistic and thats the only reason why i use them.

I've tried some phone OS :

• The old windows mobile : well... not bad, but it wasn't good for touch phones...
• iOS : made for babies or very old people, but the worse for a geek, even with jailbreak it's impossible to do so many things !
• Android : 4.0 , 4.1 or 4.2 are very nice to use :)

Apple operating system isn't that bad. but I do prefer using android based operating systems feels so much more like a phone. rather than having a complicated design like apple.

Samsung isn't a OS. And 'interersting' isn't a word.

I would NEVER buy anything from APPLE, this company proves that they are completely untrustworthy. So I guess Android is my system of choice.

Since all Samsumg phones have Androids, you an guess the answer.
And everyone make mistypes from time to time.

What is untrustworthy about them? I think they're transparent about everything. That's the problem. They openly disallow everything. They lock you down and you can't do anything about it.

Android is the best in my experience.

There is a lot more room for customization. And of course there is flash and emulators. Something Apple doesn't have for the iPhones.

I just put cyangenmod 10 android 4.3.1 on my htc on x.  Great OS.

if you just using you phone normally choose iOS
if you want some cutomize choose Android
I prefer with android, because it's open source and easy to customize

Nice, I'm running the cyangogenmod 11 ROM on my S3. It's a 4.4 kitkat rom, since tmobile hasn't even rolled out kitkat for the S3 yet I think. Great daily driver.

I tried that but my phone went into a bootloop :( I think I need to extract the boot img and push onto phone.  CBA at the moment.

Android, for sure. I see no point in buying an iPhone even regardless of its impressive features - they prohibit doing too many things that I need including bluetooth etc.

Android is nice. The others are OK too. It's a shame there isn't a popular open source community-owned Linux distro for smartphones. I think Ubuntu was working on a mobile version of their OS. But for the most part, your choices are limited to either Google (Android), Apple (IOS), or Microsoft (Windows Phone).

Currently using Windows 8 on my phone as well. Wish I could change it but don't have the time to look too much into it.

What really pains me a little that there is not really much variety of these operating systems. There is Android, Apple and little of Windows. That is it. No really huge competition. And there is no clear victor as well... I guess time will tell which os will survive os war.

I like the OS of iphone 5S. I think it is the best.

Im more into ANdroid, IOs is too rigid.

Android is my favorite. This November will be 2 years with this Droid DNA and it's never missed a beat and has accepted all Android OS upgrades so I always have all the latest features. My 14 yr old niece likes ios, but that's because her friends have one and they are made simple so a child or non-tech savy adult can use them. She has no interest in computers or programming technology other than to text and use Facebook. IMHO, most of the things I do on android can not be done on ios. Mass production for mass consumption is Apple's business strategy and it makes them a lot of money. But that's my opion, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, especially my 14yr old niece and her friends. The iPhone is great for some, just not for me because I require a little more freedom when it comes to what my phone allows me to accomplish in life. I have not used the new Windows phone, but had tried there first attempt back around 2007 for a month, so I can't really comment on it. That Ubuntu phone looks promising if you could get it on a high end HTC phone.

I like android because of its openness. Apple needs to catch-up. Have not used a windows phone yet, no real incentive to try it.
