Any algo can potentially have an ASIC created. Inclusionary VS exclusionary on asics also impact inclusion / exclusion of participation.

I'd change something, if there would be over 50% asics, but as it is now, I find it ok. Marketing is the key.

It makes the network stronger. If you want to fork MYR leave the asics, just add more x11 / x15 flavors to water down the distro share to the asics. Coin should always evolve and it will not matter right or wrong! And our goal as a community to reach out to developers, because they do not let the coin for himself and for us!
