None of the devs has any ASIC miners. I myself test with my GPU.
I understand most miners prefer low energy/ less heat Algos these days
But that does not mean scrypt is dead.

There is a few things to run through first as usual per any coin release like website, block explorer, twitter.. etc etc.
We are not in hurry to jump the promo wagon yet. Koolio will produce ~ 2 million coins the first month of mining.
So plenty of time to plan things nicely.

GoX never existed and wish there was a way to roll back and delete it out of existence " but that's wishful thinking, not a practical suggestion. By the way I never had any BTC on GoX, but I hated what they did to BTC in general. I do not hate much, but if I do, Mt. GoX and China's Central Bank would top my list.

watch out everyone!

check your "My Workers" page Sovie, usually correct hashrate shows there, make sure if you have more than one worker that all are setup correctly.
Also double check the worker and pass make sure it matches with your setup.
If you are renting rigs, hash rates fluctuates depending on how many miners join and leave.
Check with the pool owner see if he can help solve the issue.

at mining Koolio coin, before multipools and farms jump in. We have kept the daily updates so far to a minimum.
We have a crew of capable devs working on very unique and other popular features in high demand on the crypto scene.
A road map for the roll out of these features, will be posted later today.

The shop integration into the wallet itself blows any VPN or tor network out of the water. VPN and TOR are not 100% anon, but this wallet shop could be.... Imagine buying "packs" of BTC from a merchant through the shop for KOOL? It's an anon exchange!!!!

Anybody else having issues depositing koolio into your coin-swap account?  I have had a transaction stuck at 4/10 conformations since Monday and 5:30 PM and more transactions that were sent that night before I stopped auto-sending them to coin-swap. All the transactions have confirmed through the network. They are stuck somewhere in coin-swaps system. Is anyone else having similar issues?

we're on block ~28040. It should switch at block 43200. I guess it's taken longer with the massive diff spikes and no hashrate to eat through the blocks and I bet the dev calculated the time per block.

43200 blocks x 1 minute block time = 43200 minutes / 60 = 720 hours / 24 = 30 days.

Addition: if 28040 = 30days, then 43200 = 46-47 days. That's not 100% accurate due to fluctuations and variables. So we have another 2 weeks left of mining 50's. The total coins in circulation will remain the same, we're just behind schedule by two weeks.

No problem to help you out, I'll always help a community member if I can, but I'm not part of the KOOL team so my knowledge is limited purely to function of the coin. So idk about bittrex.

Yes, the reward will definitely drop to 10 KOOL/block. It's coded that way and I'm 100% sure. Using the codes he used, it would be impossible to say it would be 30 days of mining 50's, he used a calculation to arrive at a "projected" 30 days. If we'd looked earlier in the github like when mining first started, we still wouldn't have caught this unless we calculated the diff algo into the block times - which i'm not up for, so it's not really his fault unless he knew the difficulty swings would be so wild that the time would increase, which I doubt.

The fastest way to get to 43200 is slowly build up the hashrate and maintain the constant upward trend in hashrate at a reasonable pace. Or have the dev change the code to block 30000. That would mean there's only 1.5 million coins out when the 50's end, but would shave off 10 days off of 50's and increase everyone's value, including the premine. But this would eventually catch up to the BTC:KOOL price curve so it's not that big of an increase for very long. Note that it wouldn't affect the total coin cap either, but dev would have to recalculate the amount of blocks for the 10's.

The issue I see here is the fact that nobody talks in this forum. Koolio hasn't been online in 11 days. This has happened a few times with this coin. The devs get us hyped up. Then no one says anything for weeks. The hash rate drops to nothing. Then the devs drop a paragraph and go on there merry way. I like hearing from you Halofire, but at this point the devs need to make it known that they still exist.

Agreed. Again, I have no affiliation to this coin. I am pro-crypto in general so I spread the knowledge I have when people ask questions, I feel it's my job to educate so people get smarter about their investments. I hope you learned how to read the codes at github from my little 'lesson'. Search "subsidy" to find the code I told you about at github to find it easier for the next time. You can find hidden premines and super blocks like this too. :)

I fear the worst for this coin though, unless the dev recalculated the time and knows when to come back. But still, I know where you're coming from, we'd like to know he's still here - even if he's still playing the "under the radar" game as the coin was made to be.

This coin is dead? No in Bittrex, no news from dev, price 11 satoshi.

I do believe that this coin has a future. The trade volume per day has gone up from what is has been recently. I think staying in it will be a good idea. I'll mine it to the magic block and beyond. That is what the devs are waiting on to move on. Ok I just looked we are past the 50 per block. I will try to get in touch with the devs.

I will continue to mine at as long as transactions are still happening. I feel its the least I can do. It would be great if others would coin in. Almost every time I check the amount per block there's network transaction payout included. And trading still seems to be moving along. The volumes are higher and the trades are more frequent then in the past. And it's not just selling there's just as much buying happening. I don't think this coin is dead.

figured I pop in and say it's been another 30 days.
Sept 3rd we hit block 43200.
Popped a block today to check, reward is 10.

trading is going pretty ok. Price is ok I guess but the volume is better then it's ever been for this coin. Is there some way to get in touch with the devs. I looked and didn't really get any where. You got any ideas. Or is there a way to revive this coin without the devs. Can someone take it over, I saw this done with coin(o). It seems to be doing ok after new devs took over. Just an idea.

Just sync up to the last found Block, then start solo mining to start the blockchain again to fully sync, it's that easy :)

Can Koolio Coin be KOOL again ? Only time will tell !  ;D
