Title: How to prove a website offline status? Post by: 2dogs on July 11, 2014, 08:06:30 PM Noob here,
I'm being asked to prove I tried to log into a certain website by a deadline (last Sunday), but the website was offline. I should have done a screen capture at that time, but I didn't. It's in my history, but I don't see any specific times, and don't know how that could support my case. Now it has become an issue - how can I prove this website was not working at that time? Thanks, but it is only showing current status. No history - in hind site, I should have done a screen capture of this page. Title: Re: How to prove a website offline status? Just open CMD and type "ping websitename.com" Title: Re: How to prove a website offline status? Post by: 2dogs on July 11, 2014, 08:56:01 PM Firefox.
Trying to see proof the website was down last Sunday, not current. I'm trying the about:cache in the address to get all info on cache service. EDIT: not showing up. Right click on the "details" at the top of the history items displayed, and activate the date/time detail by clicking on it. Title: Re: How to prove a website offline status? Yes, but only the most recent date/time shows up, since I visited that website recently. :'( Title: Re: How to prove a website offline status?
