(1.06 GB)

Its is a video series promoted and produced by donations and is distributed through bittorrent
 network by Vodo (http://vo.do).

2. Compress media.

Compress using handbrake (http://handbrake.fr).

Cointainer -MKV

Video

Advanced H264 options

http://tivr.nuzoka.com/extra/advncd_h264_options.gif

Audio

http://tivr.nuzoka.com/extra/audio.gif

3. And after compressing, upload the compressed file back to torrent network
and  share the  torrent /magnet link on this forum.

4. Make sure the to have at least one seed for the first 3 days of your release.

5. After verification of the requirements, payment will be made .

Its already in mkv & u want to compress further to reduce size?

mkv is the container. the correct qusetion would be:
"Its already in h264 & u want to compress further to reduce size?"
Or whatever the video codec of the source file is...

You did it far sooner than my expectations.Which CPU you are using ?

And please send me the handbrake log file for that encode. You can find in "C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\HandBrake\logs" for XP.

core i7 iMac and will look for the log now.  It wasn't even using 100% of my CPU I think the I/O was the bottleneck or something which is weird since I have an SSD.

Ok it's seeding from my home server so it's always on.  Was that log I copied + pasted sufficient or should I continue to look for the .log file?  my address is 1LEH9eyoPjuHtzmFX5SKzhbg8kcrnpyhBr when you're satisfied you can send it there.

Its 1 O'clock night here so,it may be that I could n't respond your messages untill next 7-8 hours.

The log file is supposed to be in ~/Library/Application Support/HandBrake/EncodeLogs/

according to https://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/ActivityLog

there is no such thing on my mac. I looked both in the root /Library as well as User.

I also did a system wide search and only files with the filenames are the actual movies and the original and new .torrent files.

I'll post screenshots of my settings a lot is different between the windows so not sure if you are using an older handbrake version or maybe a difference between Mac and windows versions?

Let me know what to change and I'll re encode it if you want I was originally encoding it to and from a USB HDD but switched to my SSD because it seemed to be severely bottlenecked but it seemed to keep the settings.

I have it next to yours so you can compare.

The screenshots which I posted are from handbrake version 0.9.4 .

I took a VLC screenshot .It seems that you have not used maximum x264 settings. At maximum settings it looks very impressive at 392 kbps.
I wanted that highest video specifications .

You can see it for yourself .Here is the original screenshot (http://tivr.nuzoka.com/extra/vlcsnap.png)

Like I said I was incredibly impressed at how it looked for 1/10th the size here is a comparison between the screen you posted and mine they look pretty much identical so maybe I did do it right but if not like I said I'll re encode just tell me what to change.

The settings for you are

*Enable 8*8 Transform           Adaptive b-Frames=Optimal                    Partition type = ALL.

                                         Adaptive Direct mode=Automatic
Value for trellis should be 2.
Psychovisual
*Enable No DCT Decimation

Rest all are ok .
Let me know if difference in video tab settings also .

For Motion Estimation Method use "Transformed Exhaustive".

Ok will start now.  No problem I should have checked when I saw that things were listed differently on my end.

Edit: BTW I'm doing the encode on my external HDD this time so to not over write my SSD since OS X doesn't have TRIM yet.  So going to take longer only using like 10% of my CPU.

Something important to note here: Handbrake is pretty terrible.

If you want to properly encode with Handbrake, then... actually you can't. :P
If you want to encode as best you can with Handbrake, get a nightly build (https://build.handbrake.fr/view/Nightlies/). Handbrake includes x264 as a library, not an executable, so you need the latest dev build to get the latest x264. And the latest x264 is always better; even the 3-4 month old build in Handbrake 0.9.5 is missing a bunch of bug fixes and some minor speed enhancements.
The 1.5 year old build in 0.9.4 is missing a lot of very important features.

Title: Fund raising for compression of popular video files

A group of people can raise funds(on equal basis) for getting a common popular file compressed. The collected funds will be paid to the compressor and the compressed file will be later shared by all fund raisers.

I've got a quadcore-server with plenty ram and diskspace. It has an 100Mbit uplink. If you are interested in some reencoding, I could do that.
