Since we haven't hit $1000 already I'm going for September.
Anyhow it should be this year :)

It will be driven by a big event, most likely US exchange-related news.

I think we'll see $1000 again in december personally about the same time the last price hike happened.

Seriously though, I could see August-September considering the hype that is almost sure to follow the opening of the Jersey fund. This is assuming that the Bull run is already under way, but just being stealthy about it.

i agree, start of the rally in august, real action in the fall. WABI is a really big event in my opinion.

August it´s winning, it´s a fact that are all waiting for that to make profit or recover the money they spend, so when it it 1000, instantly it will fall again to 700/800.

Its not easy to touch $1000 without hot money from china. My wild guess would be 2016.

When weekly volume on bitstamp breaks 250 million USD. No sign of that happening so far with volume being in the 20M range.

False. We already have the Federal Reserve printing to infinity right here in the U.S.

China is irrelevant. They can ban Bitcoin every day for the rest of their lives and Bitcoin will not care.

No. It'll never be that high again. Market is too splintered in exchanges and off exchange volume.

I thought in the first 3 month of 2015.
In the end of 2014 i think it will reach about $800.

Newbies/fresh fiat that are going to panic buy will just go to the main exchanges.

There are only 3 main USD exchanges. To justify a price of over 1K you will need to see volume of them combined over 600 million USD similar to the late Nov early Dec period.

i think once the price goes above above 750 it will go to 1000 pretty quickly.
why i think this i'm not sure.

Q1/Q2 2015 is my guess.

Based on current results, most people here are expecting the rally to get moving up again very soon. 
Buy some BTC today.  :)

i think bitcoin will go to $1000 Sometime in 2015

I get the general feeling (and share the sentiment) that given all of the good that has happened lately, Bitcoin is due for another big spike.  It's seemed to have the same coiling-up feeling that it did last summer.

For price it will be more like sep/okt/nov august is still vocation time so i dont think that price of BTC will go up, still that can happen cuz no one will be there to use that ass advantage.

I guess for September, it's too much time that we don't have a decent rally.

Since it was a Halloween rally last year when the price really started to move upwards.

Bitcoin will touch 1000$ again between October-December. Now is too much early to touch that price. Probably in august price should touch 800$.

Add the time of the next halving to the list - that is 2016 (and maybe 2017 - accounting for the after halving delay)!

Somewhere December already, lets hope for that. I guess it would be better if it gradually ups slowly, ticking a 1000 somewhere 2016.

I used to say August, but seeing where we are now I see September/October as a more plausible option.
Anyhow, the later we touch 1K, the higher it will go afterwards.

Could easily happen this month, but my money is on August-September.  We need some good news to get the next rally going to break the resistance up at 660.  Think we've already had our jump for the month going up from 550, but it could easily happen again

Like most people here, I also think that BTC will hit $1000 within the next three months. But frankly, the more important question is whether the price will be sustained and if not, for how long will it be?

Do we really want more rallies with crashes? Is that really good long-term?

August and September have the most votes. Proves how clueless are majority of people on this forum.

Bulls and their wishful thinking... don't know should I laugh or feel sorry for them

Many of these bulls are probably new users. Hoping bitcoin will make them rich without working.

They were expecting the ETF to be approved by then. The lesson is to never listen to the blind predictions on here, as they have a vested interest in btc going up.

Whats surprising is how persistent the high prices have been. It looks like it will take over a year for this bubble to burst, in sharp contrast to previous bubbles

No one can know this. Maybe price will touch 1000$ at the end of month or the next year, no one can know when this will happen. But, when winkelvoss etf will launched, there will be more possibility that price will touch 1000$ as soon as possible.
