Title: Which miners identify as Java/1.6.0_??
Post by: MintCondition on March 17, 2012, 03:33:47 PM
Hi all,

We are currently working on a page that shows the performance of the clients in use at ABCPool.co.

To make this as useful as possible for our miners, we would like to ask you to help identify some clients. Please let us know if you know which client(s) may be using the following identifiers :
Java/1.6.0_26
Java/1.6.0_10
Java/1.6.0_29
Java/1.6.0_24

Watch the ABCPool thread for further announcements if you're interested in these kind of stats; like when you're looking for the perfect mining client

Regards,
MC.

The last Digits seem to be the patch level of Java. If there are more than one java mining clients out there, you will need more that this information to identify the Client.

BTC Miner for example is based on Java (http://www.ztex.de/btcminer/). It's specialized for Ztex FPGA boards.

Might be very old versions of DiabloMiner, I wasn't bothering to set the UA at one point.
