Just to make 8 gigahashes cost over $8,000!!!!

If I go with 10 BFL Singles, it would cost 6k at 8.32 gigahashes

LMAO i just realized there's only 2k of a difference and I can't use BFL singles to play games over the net

For Bitcoin Mining, you can ditch the powerful memory and CPU, just saying.

You don't need a powerful cpu unless your also going to use this rig for Litecoin Mining as well as Bitcoin mining

Right, as if one needed a Core i7 Extreme Edition to do so...
Socket 2011 is an expensive platform but if you're made of money by all means go for it - just don't expect your choice to be the most economically sound.
Ummm... how many games can you fit on that measly 160 gig hard drive? ::)

Well, you're supposed to. Reaper ruined that.
