Title: Why do I have so many sockets in TIME_WAIT? Post by: jmaxmining on July 14, 2014, 03:28:57 AM while running netstat, which takes about ten minutes to return. Hundreds if not thousands of ports are in the TIME_WAIT state. WTF? :-\
