Title: I stumbled upon a minerscube website the deal appears too good to be true.
Post by: philipma1957 on July 14, 2014, 01:03:54 PM
Okay minersbox  offers minerscube  a 5th unit with 825 watts of power.

They offer shipping the end of july and they offer paypal.

price is 4500 usd

who the fuck are they?  scammers?

I do not even want to put the link as I fail to see why they would sell it  if it gets .165 watts per hash.

hell just mine it.  I also struggle to believe a 20nm chip would be as low as .165 watts a hash

Anyone know anything about this.

It truly appears to be too good to be true.

Please don't buy into them because you read my post.

I was tempted to buy one  due to the paypal offer.

If I wait until the 20th of July and place an order my payment would not be due until sept 12th.
If they fail to ship by august 1st I would put a claim in against them.

They offer it for 6.5btc  =  4100usd

I guess they just need   20 btc buyers to make the scam worth it.

If you believe they have come out with 5 TH/s units at 825 Watts, I have some lovely ocean front property in Nebraska I would like to show you. Joking aside, there is no way that is true and is most likely a scam.

My feelings exactly as the btc price is 6.5  which is 4100 usd much less then the paypal price of 4500

They get 20 or 30 fools dumping btc at them and they do okay.

C'mon haven't you learned anything? It's an obvious scam. Shipping in July, but only rendered photos? It's so obvious.

Edit: No team, no real address, no real demo etc. SCAM!

I figured as much. But I was looking for more opinions. The paypal option made it a bit tempting, but most likely I would tie up 4500 for a month before I get a refund.
