will the invading alien horde use bitcoin or will they have their own alternate alien crypto that they will use to destroy bitcoin and further subjugate us?

If they are civilised why would they need money or Bitcoins? Probably trade in precious metals.

i hope they bring their sha-256 cracking technologies just to piss every one off :]

Just today I saw an article saying that NASA believes we will contact aliens within 20 years time. I guess we will soon find out :-)

Why would aliens ever need money if they are far more advanced then us, Im sure a smarter civilization will laugh oof the greed we have instead of working together.

If alien come here I'm sure they would have very powerful computer hashing power. Our most powerful computer would be like hashing power of a calculator to them. I'm sure the aliens would destroy most of humanity left a few for dissection and for their zoos.

And bitcoin will considered inferior to them, I'm sure they will already have more powerful bitcoin like money or they don't use money at all because maybe they function as one organism or only one is controlling them is the real alien and the rest is just drones.

DETECT aliens maybe.  Contact?  I don't know.  Even at light speed, how would you have a conversation with someone who took years to reply?

If faster than light travel is not possible, then aliens will never invade earth.  Sleep soundly.  :)

Even if faster than light travel is not possible, aliens can still conquer us. If they have the capability to travel even one tenth the speed of light which is possible using nuclear power. They can probably put to sleep for a thousands years or they travel on planet size spaceships which they reproduce on the way and their descendants will finish the task or they maybe machines that don't age or die.

If they dont need money they dont need to trade.  If they can make it here its likely they have the technology to dominate us very easily so wont need to trade with us.

Why would they need money, and advance not selfish race wouldnt need money there will be a system, based on levels just like ants.  everyone working together to make sure there civilization to survive

What if aliens are already using cryptocurrencies and have come to earth to find who satoshi is cause clearly he is ahead of his time and therefor must be an alien that landed on earth to help the people control their own wealth. :)
