Being able to exchange Bitcon for Gold doesn't seem like a bad deal, as it can be beneficial for both companies to do such a thing. Bitcoin remains somewhat volatile but constant, and that can be good to make a few extra dollars on a sale you just made. I've heard places like Negatio (Or something similar) do a sterling-gold-bitcoin exchange system, and there are also some Canadian companies that do the same, and I've ordered from some of them as a test. There are many exchanges and sites of the sort that allow BTC to Gold/silver/platinum and so on and so forth.
