Post by: Dark_Vader on July 16, 2014, 09:17:08 PM
Hi!

I want to sell my bitcointalk Sr. Member account for 0.5 BTC,also we can negotiable the price, but under 0.45 BTC i won't sell.

The acount is: registered in Sempteber 2013
                       activity is +330
                       over 50 days logged in
have few positive trust ratings,no negatives

Escrow is a must!

I prefer that escrow.ms is used to do the escrow.

I'm pretty sure Heros start at .5BTC. But then again, I'm not wrapped in the selling account scene.

sold accounts should get banned.   :-\

though i'm not one to miss an opportunity, if someone were to offer me enough moneys.  i am all about more jobs and less penis.

Are your positive feedbacks from people from the trust list, or just untrusted feedbacks?

True, it is allowed in the current rules, but it really shouldn't be IMHO.

Well, unfortunately there would be no way to enforce such a rule, so the idea here seems to be: it's better for people to see that this is going on and be more careful when doing trades (even with people with positive feedback), than for people to be caught unaware. ::)

Some people give negative trust for selling accounts (it is allowed though).
And new buyer probably don't want to make it public so using new account for selling is better.
Almost every account seller here works this way.

No, I think he meant: why didn't Dark_Vader use his Senior Member account (in whatever it is that he does in the forum :)) instead of just trying to sell it; hence his previous question of whether or not he was just a reseller.

Well maybe he has multiple accounts?
Or he is too lazy to make 400 posts month :P

The price isn't high.It depends on activity + over 50 days logged in + over 1000 posts + no negative trust feedbacks...

No,i'm not a re-seller.

I don't use the account that i'm selling to sell it public because of this:

He is right , Hero Account worth 0.85 - 1 BTC and Sr.member worth 0.5-0.6 .

are you open trades like, having x3 member accounts about to be full member for a sr. account.

And how did you come up with those values? I would say that accounts are worth exactly as much as people are willing to pay for them, and there doesn't really seem to be that much demand. :P

On the other hand, I don't think this should really be allowed at all, particularly in the case of older accounts and accounts that have positive trust associated with them - but of course it's pretty hard to enforce such a rule.
