No - usually within 10 mins but can sometime take an hour or so. It's not a 'debit card' solution you was looking for but as close as you can get - online banking transfer. Best to just use sellers with a high amount of positive feedback.

Localbitcoins hold the seller's coins in 'escrow' until seller confirms the funds transfer and releases the coins to you. They end up in your localbitcoins wallet - send them to yourself from there. And https://weselldoges.com/ (https://weselldoges.com/) allows you to buy them by Paypal. Of course, there's a mark-up because they need to cover the cost of frauds, but it's not ridiculously high. If you don't mind linking to a bank account I suggest coinbase. Also as a security I'm sure not all do this but i suggest opening a checking account just for this purpose. Assuming you have online banking you can move money in/out of bitcoin/internet bank account as needed. And you don't need to use your main checking account this way. Most have free if you keep a certain amount in them, which normally isn't to much. |
