Why do you need an e-mail address, why not only a Bitcoin address?

Paying internet strangers upfront for the promise that they'll fill a survey doesn't seem like a good strategy.

While it is very easy to make both a new Bitcoin address and a new email address, it is certainly more difficult to create a new email address than a new Bitcoin address. Since email addresses cannot be created as easily, we have decided that participants should be entered into the drawing via email. After the survey has ended, the two winners will each be sent an email requesting that they provide an address for their winnings to be sent to.

OP is an internet stranger too, thats not my point, my point was simply getting paid for the effort, even it was for 5 minutes and it doesn't needs any promises, surveys can be designed to give out completion codes which can confirm the survey was filled properly by the random internet strangers. Anyways, I am not telling anyone else to not fill the survey or not to take part in this giveaway, I was simply stating that I'd rather do it for something smaller but surer.

If he does, a signed address would be important or there'd be no way to know if that's really his.

However, it might not be that important since there's only a few spots left.

I don't think OP will ruin his account for just 0.1 btc, considering that his account worth way more than 0.1. :)

This seems very dodgy.. No evidence of funds and collecting people's details with the promise of a prize.

Thats true, but still the person could just say oh im so sorry, "whatever reason" I already forgot this survey has been done before.

Lets just hope that he doesnt want to ruin his account.

As previously stated by another user, the survey does not contain any questions that ask for personal details. It is merely to get a feel for how people are currently sending money around the globe using conventional services, as well as newer services.

Maybe using asterisks to blank out some of the info to prevent the addresses being spammed to death?

I hope this wasn't a scam, to get the e-mail addresses of users who make large amounts of transaction in Bitcoin. (one question in the survey asked about that.)

I think OP should announce the 2 winners here, and publish the TxID for the 2 prizes.

It's up to the prize winners to disclose if they won or not. Also they'll need to reply to the email within 72 hours or next person wins.

It is extremely unlikely to have all those 50 participants not responding the emails, and if it really turns out that way, I would suggest OP to donate the bitcoin for charity (eg. http://bitcoin100.org/charities/) :)
