Title: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: bricscoin on July 18, 2014, 11:24:54 PM BRICS-coin
BRICS is the acronym for an association of five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRICS) BRICS-coin aims to promote interaction between the BRICS members by providing a common financial medium of exchange. Key features: -Source IP verification between nodes - Only connections originating from within the BRICS borders are allowed. -Anonymity is promoted by key substitution during every transaction: Bob stores some keys on the keyserver (automatically through wallet) and only shares his wallets default address. When Alice makes a payment to the default address of Bob, the keyserver substitutes the address with one of the previously stored addresses of Bob. The wallet default address of Bob never appears in the blockchain. -CPU miner POW - The miner is governed to aim to mine 100h/s, regardless of the number of CPU cores or clock speed of the CPU. - With approx. 3 billion people living in BRICS, the maximum number of coins will be 3^9. - POW distribution period: 1.5 years, approx. up to Dec. 2016 - Algorithm: SCrypt based - Block interval: 20 seconds, Retarget: 5 minutes, Block reward: 1265 - constant up to 3^9 coins - After POW the coin will switch to POS - Exact specifications of POS still to be set. It is not standard. It is cheating with instamine. Good! :) Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: T-800 on July 18, 2014, 11:38:13 PM +2 This is starting to piss me off. Coins = money nonetheless. "The keyserver and payment confirmation nodes (coin miners) will only accept connections made from IP addresses that fall within the borders of the BRICS countries." Good! :) Proxies... Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: bricscoin on July 18, 2014, 11:41:22 PM +2 This is starting to piss me off. Good day, Sorry for the inconvenience regarding the Windows & Linux-QT wallets. I'll try and post them tomorrow. With 3^9 coins to be mined over a 1.5 year period, with each PC (CPU only) at a maximum of 100h/s, this is hardly an instamine Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: cinnamon_carter on July 18, 2014, 11:42:00 PM i can certainly make a wallet but will want to first examine the source code
Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: Shadow_Runner on July 18, 2014, 11:45:04 PM i can certainly make a wallet but will want to first examine the source code Quote As soon as the POW phase is finished, the source code will be released in the public domain. It will take a long time. ;D Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: biohammer on July 18, 2014, 11:57:52 PM FU and your IP based mining and no wallet I can game that with my VPN But you can keep it

I coin which cannot be mine by everybody regardless where they live is totally stupid A dev which implements such coin is a moron actually such an ANN shouldn't be in a section of the forum which is supposed to be international (that was an european point of view over racistcoin) Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: Thyaga on July 19, 2014, 12:45:34 AM Sorry for saying this but, This is the worst [ANN] thread I've even seen.
Dev supposed to make posts more attractive and better explain about the coin more specific. Title: Re: [ANN][BRX] BRICS-coin Post by: mycryptocoin on July 19, 2014, 01:06:02 AM Hm
