Title: New Company whose goal is to bring coin mining to the masses
Post by: ace321 on July 19, 2014, 01:52:19 AM
A colleague of mine just sent me info on anew start-up company whose goal is to bring crypto-currencies to the masses.  Now, for the computer techs who can build there own miner this is no big deal but to the 98% of the masses who can't this is huge.  They provide software, hardware, and mentoring to those non-techies that would like to mine coins.

The software is state of the art and tells you which coin is the most profitable to mine at any given time.  It's web based so you can literally switch coins with the push of a button.  The hardware is plug n play so all you have you be able to do is turn on your computer.

There is a webinar this Tues (7/22) at 7pm CST and the link is here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/rt/1372950633861310210 The webinar will be explaining the whole package (hardware & software).

The company is looking for reps to sell these packages and for those who have built miners and have friends, colleagues, etc who would like to mine this could be a goldmine.  It's not for everyone but if you see the benefits for those who wish to mine to own something like this you could do very well.  Attend the webinar, find out what it's all about and then make a decision.

They have special deals until Aug 1 for reps.  If you are so inclined to join you can go here : go.digisade.com   ID: DGS73935

A forward thinking company with great leadership and a product that's in demand - opportunity knocking???

Is this speculation or just advertising?

Seems like a pretty bad solution to a nonexistent problem. You know that 90% of miners are basically plug and play right? (Some might require a few minutes of setup)

Who exactly is this product targeted towards? Senile old folks? Children?

Are you saying 98% of the masses don't have basic knowledge of how to use a computer?

And that those people should be gambling by mining an incredibly speculative, volatile, and unproven digital currency?

Well do not stomp on someone trying to promote crypto currency business to the masses.

Any initiative making things easier for people to get into mining should be backed with support. The bigger the interest the better the chance of success for the

whole industry. Thanks for the link.

How to let people know bitcoin is legit and not a scam:

- convince naive investonomers they can make money easily without doing anything
- give them an easy way to get involved/invest without doing their own research/due diligence
- sell them hardware that they think will make a profit
- profit from their loss

If you want to gamble on bitcoin mining that's completely fine but don't sucker noobs in to it.

Just curious have either of you actually tried mining?

There is no "making it easier".

There are more steps involved with tieing your shoes than with setting up an asic.

I have been mining for a short while but setting up the miner was not an easy task.  Without the help of a computer tech of mine to get it programmed correctly I would still be working on it.  I work on a computer daily, build websites ,etc so it was not easy for me.  I'm posting the information in hopes of someone like me who wants to mine and get more involved in crypto-currency and help promote digital currency, this may be an option for them.  Anything we  can do to get more people involved with more knowledge of digital currency the better off we will all be.  hope this help and thanks for your thoughts.

We don't want to "sign up for your webinar". We don't want to "preorder". We don't want to fund you. If you want to sell mining gear, build some units and send them out to reviewers. Then ship product immediately when ordered, like every other electronics product sold on line.

Everybody has had it with wannabe mining machine builders. STFU until you can ship.

Just trying to provide information for those interested.  This is not for everyone and kudos to those who have done this by themselves or with the help of others.  I'm not asking for any funding, people can make up their own minds if this is something that interests them or not.  For myself and many others I have talked to this information may benefit them, if it's not for them, great.

It's a MLM/Pyramid scheme where they hock USB miners to people for some insane price ($500 I think).

Why not sell snake oil in a back alley?

This will not convince more people to use Bitcoin, this will only convince a few people that they were scammed into buying something was a losing proposition.  1/2 the Bitcoins are already out in circulation.  What we need now is to teach people the benefits of the technology - not some get rich quick scheme.
