The choice of words is funny. "Bandwagon" I think not. There is no reason NOT to accept BTC if you run a business. It has brought a huge amount of sales to my business All Things Luxury. Now my results, have been greater than normal due to my activity in the community and special events such as Bitcoin Friday, but hey, what risk is there?

I don't think it's as clear cut as a simple yes or no, it would depend on the business  :)

What business shouldn't accept bitcoins?  (and why not)

This is true. If you have the opportunity to catch additional business by simply adding an additional payment option, there really isn't a reason not to

Maybe Western Union, since BTC eats away at all their profits

Yeah there really isn't a downside on this. Lower payment processing costs, no chargebacks or fraud, and this is just for starters. If businesses truly understand it the question of accepting it becomes an obvious choice.
