Title: Crypti vs Ethereum
Post by: GTO911 on July 23, 2014, 09:36:37 AM
Why are people sending BTC to an IPO with NO investment cap? Are Ethereum devs that much greedy that they invite as much as you can send? As much as you CAN SEND??

People should buy Crypti at launch instead. Anything under 5000 satoshi per Crypti will be a better deal than greed ridden ethers

I have a hard time trusting IPO's. I mean the devs never lose. If the proyect goes to hell, you lose your money and they can easily launder the BTC money and pull a Karpeles in your face. Overall not worth the risk. The only IPO i was going to support was Moolah.

As much as I like Vitalik Buterin I don't like the IPO of any coin.
But I am very glad that Vitalik has managed to raise a lot of BTC for his team.
Personally I am seeing a bright future for Monero with rpetilas perfect laid out distribution of the coin.

Nobody asked you which coin has a future, read the thread title again

I don't understand it either why people are investing in etherum as the devs have clearly stated that they are looking for as much money as possible and don't really care about the coin itself. I have never heard of crypti though and I'll take a look at it.

My issue with these IPOs is just how much money does one need to get these coding projects off the ground? At least MAIDsafe had an excuse needing physical hardware and infrastructure and you could re-sell your coins if you lost faith in the project.

Crypti was a fair, capped and friendly IPO.

Ethereum is becoming a massive, uncapped and totally hyped IPO. Bagholders will cry.

Uncapped = Fair

The higher the distribution of coins the better. It's the capped IPOs that attract the greedy folk.
