I recently bought Antminer S3 and after all required setting configuaration the miner remains in standby mode (Red light off and green light blinking per second). Here is all required information: --my ipconfig is: -- Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : westell.com Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::fd99:662:caa3:612%12 IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.193 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1 Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::2557:f20c:960f:e444%11 IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.250 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1 ----------------------- My router ip is 192.168.0.1 --ANTMINER S3 Miner's WAN Configuaration-- Protocol - Static IPv4 address - 192.168.1.99 IPv4 netmask - 255.255.255.0 IPv4 gateway - 192.168.0.1 IPv4 broadcast - 192.168.1.255 Use custom DNS servers - 192.168.0.1 ---------------------------------------------------- Also when I insert the ethernet cord from Antminer S3 into computer's ethernet port, will it start mining if the configuration is correct? Or I have to remove the ethernet cord from computer and insert it into router? Please help! Thanks in advance. Your pool information might not be correct.
Also, try restarting the miner or powering it off and back on and see if it starts hashing. Protocol - Static IPv4 address - 192.168.1.99 IPv4 netmask - 255.255.255.0 IPv4 gateway - 192.168.0.1 This is not correct, the gateway cannot be on a different subnet. I did this for all my miners. Even after being turned off they kept the same ip addresses.

IP of miners is 192.168.1.* IP of your network is 192.168.0.* Change your network to 192.168.1.* Then, connect your S3 1 at a time and edit the WAN to use DHCP if you want your router to automatically assign the miners addresses... or setup the static IP addresses - ensuring each miner gets a different address (like 192.168.1.101 and 192.168.1.102). Very good catch. You can do this and then change router back after and it should work if all done right. It seems a lot of the mining gear is shipped at 192.168.1.* if you don't need to be on 192.168.0.* i would think about changing if you get many miners.
