I like your FAQ section and how you explained everything pretty thoroughly, and the low house edge. Also the note you put in there if it gets to within 10% of the bankroll, everyone gets cashed out early with a win was pretty nice. Yeah, it's great at messing with your head! But if you look at the odds, they are actually in the houses favor. So how does that work? Well, let's say "quadruple" your money:

You'll succeed quite often (~24.8%) -- but that still gives the odds in the houses favor. So the great this is, that 99% of games are profitable from, yet you don't have enough information to do so. Withdraws are working as promised and both conflicting reports are true. About 6 withdrawals had been held up, and required my manual intervention, every other one happened instantly.

If anyone is interested in the technical reason for the withdrawal delay, it's kind of interesting: The hot wallet only makes a payment from an output that is confirmed, and due to the rapid withdrawal of bonus amounts -- the wallet ran out of outputs! (A problem which resolved itself next block). Fortunately, all systems worked perfectly -- the transaction was saved as 'PENDING' and proper alerts triggered. So the only consequence was delayed manual processing. I've manually fragmented the hot-wallet a bit, so it can handle far more withdrawals per block.

The long version is in the FAQ, but basically if any bet would wipe out WHAT_IM_PREPARED_TO_LOSE -- I instantly cash them out (forcing them to enjoy an early profit). Right now, I have a private investor willing to take a 15 BTC loss (as long as it doesn't stem from a game bug), and my own bankroll of ~8 BTC (10% of which is configured to be losable via a single game).

So right now, if a player was playing in the 1 BTC game, they would get forced cashed out at ~15.8 BTC. If two players were holding at the time, they would get forced cashed out at ~7.65 BTC.

And all site profits go directly to my bankroll -- so I will hopefully be able to delay forcing people to cashout after a much longer period of time in the future. That said, it doesn't appear anyone has got close to the point of the forced cashout yet =)

I wanted to ask you, is this provably fair? How it is decided that when will it crash? The other thing I wanted to ask is why there are no 1000 bits game? There's 1 bit, 100 bit and then straight to 10000 bit??

I thought I sent to everyone -- but I guess I missed a few people. A couple others I double spent money to. Anyone who's got 2x the $2 can keep it. I'll go through and review everyones account on Monday afternoon.


There's some degree of provably fairness. I send to the client a hash of the game crash point, and a hash of the seed. This proves that I've predetermined the outcomes of all games *before* a player has joined (e..g I can't change the outcome due to someone joining). However, because it's a real time and multiplayer game -- it doesn't prove I don't do things like lag/disconnect someone etc.  (But don't worry, I don't!)



That is generated before the game starts. At every satoshi increment, I effectively flip a coin that (that heavily is biased to say 'no') to determine if the game crashes at that bit. I do it in such a way, to reflect the house odds (which are scaled between 0 and 1% per game). This causes the game crash points to follow a Poisson distribution.  


The tables are in increments of x100. This is just because I don't want to spread the players too thin. When the tables get more active, i'll lower the increments to x10


It definitely can give that allusion. It's actually just a mind trick really. If anyone is interested, I can give a dump of all 162,377 games -- and you'll see over that time there's no such statistical difference. I predetermine the outcome of the game *before* I know who joins.

Also, I played out most all of my free bits on your site yesterday instead of just withdrawing them. I got up to like 5,200 bits from around 3,300! Then dropped down to about 2,000. Can you open the dev bar, seen any errors or bad requests? The entire code is 60KB of javascript (compressed and minified) hosted on a CDN -- so I don't think that meets anyones definition of heavy :D Seems like some other issue
