Who in the world will pay that much if you can't even find music for it to play it. What is so special about it that japan is buying it i don't know. Normal WMA files are good enough for me, while i can notice MP3's bad quality overall.

Not a chance. At first i though someone made this by hand without Sony like fan made (novelty item) but for a mainstream product? We're still in a stage where people listen to YouTube videos and at best stream via those Spotify or Pandora services. I wonder when iTunes will start their High Definition audio initiative, though!

Got to say though that I had a Sony Walkman CD player, and it does bring back memories just seeing the logo.
