Post by: williamj2543 on July 27, 2014, 12:39:24 AM
Hey guys, do you remember the ponzicoin.co scare? When the owner went offline for a couple days and came back? Well it got onto business insider, and they showed some posts from the ponzicoin.co thread, and they happened to show my post!

Exposures surely are somewhat coming from either good or bad. It's kind of interesting where the bitcoin fame is heading.  :D

Why somebody invest into a ponzi site?

It's very old question and answer is very simple.
People are desperate, in big financial troubles and in search for quick fix, something what can help them financially in very short term.
Of course, in 99 % of cases they never earn anything but this is like casino, people are addict and can't help themselves.

lol, reason to get in to ponzi is that you think your in early enough and can make profit.
For me it is like any other gambling, actually I like it more than dice games or anything.
I'm more than 1BTC on profit from ponzi games this far.

I would never expect  businessinsider to write such an article. It's not that I'm amazed by them writing about bircoin, but you don't usually see so big websites write about internet scams such as bitcoin ponzis.

It's a little know fact that Satoshi Nakamoto actually considered naming Bitcoin ---> PonziCoin initially but ultimately decided against it.

*And if you believe that I have one helluva business opportunity for you ;)

It actually is one of the most prominent search results on Google when you're looking for something Bitcoin-related.

Btw, op, 0.01 fee wont confirm your transaction any faster than 0.001 ;)
(unless it is very large sized)

Maybe in 20 years it will ;) Such a 'high' fee could cause future's EHash.IO spare miners to be powered up and try to mine such a potentially valuable block! Worth the risk! :D

Haha I was stupid back then. The reason I did this was because I sent 0.4 BTC, but because eveyone else used 0.0002 TX fee, and I used only 0.0001, mine was processed in the block after theirs, and my transactinos were brought to the end of the queue, and you know what happens when you are the last to invest in a ponzi :P
