What are you playing on your own, currently?

I usually don't like to play games like DotA2 and BF4 by myself, as its not as fun as playing with your friends, because you can work together to set up plays, troll people, and have fun. Skyrim would be an example of a game that I play on my own, because its currently not possible to play with others :P

The Crew closed beta. The co-op mode doesn't seems to be working correctly :(

Has anyone tried the BF Hardline beta yet? I know it ended but it was a pretty fun game. Like cops and robbers. What did you guys think about it.

Counter strike..

I've never played CS before. Is it really that good? Its not the most expensive game, so I wouldn't mind dropping some of my bitcoin on it, if it is a good game.

Hearthstone is the game I like to play alone. 1v1 gets no better than that.

I used to play league.. but I rage quit  :D

I recently went back to a few old arcade games, like Samurai Showdown IV. Victoly! ;D

League don't have a single player mode. And no the OP isn't asking about single player mode games. He is asking what games you play alone without your friends. Please learn to read.

Oh I see, that's what "playing on your own" means - thanks. My engrish keeps improving everyday. :P

And last I checked, you can play League of Legends in "single player", just against bots; you're not going to get a lot out of it though.

Resident evil from capcom is a cool game. i can play 6 hours nonstop.

I love playing Borderlands 2. I can't wait for the new Borderlands to come out.

Hmm, not one person playing strategy games like Civ, XCom, Endless Space/Legend?

Played Endless Space some months ago, but recently went back to Space Empires V - worse graphics and the AI is weak, but I think it's probably the best space strategy game out there, especially if you have someone to play with/against. :)

Just looked at Sapce Empires V on Steam - OMG the graphics look like something out of 1997 and Win 95.  Might be a good game and I'm not all for eye candy but come on  :D

Bioshock Infinite and Telltales The Walking Dead both are single player games and available for PC users.

 ;D Well yes, the game does not shine for its graphics, that's for sure. And the AI isn't much of a challenge, even if you allow it to cheat unfortunately, so ideally you should really have someone to play with... and a lot of free time.

But what I really like about the game is the sheer amount of options you have available in everything, from the types of units you can build (ships of all sizes, bases, drones, fighters, satellites, weapon emplacements, ground troops, mines, etc), what components you can build them with (far too many to post here, and with many different functions), where you place them on your ship, and formations used in combat, to a large amount of espionage/sabotage related options, and an even larger amount of diplomatic options, treaty arrangements and alliances.

Anyway, grab a demo of the game somewhere and try it out. ;)

Heroes of Newerth is pretty much the only one I play. And not much of it. One or two games a day when I'm really bored. Games last around 30 mins on average.

I picked up a silly game called Goat simulator. You might get bored fast but there is always new content coming from the workshop to keep the fun coming.

Ooh yea, I have played that Game it was a very funny game i enjoyed it.

Same here! I actually didn't play BL2 until this summer, I don't know why.
I think Borderlands 2 had a way better story than the original Borderlands! (Also it didn't lag as much even though I had the same graphic settings as on BL).
But I can't wait for the "pre-sequel"! I just hope that it will be ported to Mac pretty quickly as well, don't feel like playing it on PS3.

That's still not single player, you have 4 other people playing with you. Just not your friends.

Well, recent games that have come out:

ArmA III
Factorio (Greenlight game, kinda cool)
GTA 5
Watch_Dogs
etc.

So there are a few games with single player, not necessarily good, but single player.

All the assassins creed, gta v and fifa 15 with my friends or solo.

It has been over a year that I've played League of Legends, but unless they've removed that feature in the meantime, you can create a custom game with bots only. So, you could start a game solo against 5 bots, for example, or assign bots to your team as well, in any number. Again, it didn't make for a very interesting game, but could be useful for testing stuff out.

I can't wait for GTA 5 for PC, probably will play that by myself for a while, except for when my friends want to play online. Gta 4 was a fun game to screw around with citizens ;)

Final Fantasy type of game is fun playing offline..

Anything with a strong story I usually play by myself to stay focused.

Normally if there is multi-player for that type of game, it is more fun to play multiplayer. Single player is just boring...

Playing The Last of Us: Remastered at the moment. Never played it on PS3. One of the best games I've played. The story is really immersive.

The Saints Row series on PC. Closest thing you can play until GTA V on PC come out! XD

Fun to play with by yourself, and friends. Having all the DLCs also gives more things to do (laz0r tanks and jetz!)

I love to play RPGs on my own. That is the only type of game that I can enjoy without playing on multiplayer, because a good RPG just immerses you in an interesting story with lots of characters and a cool world. I'm currently playing Witcher 1 for the first time, I played the second one but never played the first. I am enjoying it a lot, it is very story-driven and the world looks great. Will probably replay the second one after that.

I'm also playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim from time to time, that's another classic RPG series.

Have not seen any good games for a while. All the game producers still producing games that were "good" in the past.

have you played dragons dogma? RPG with fast devil may cry combat mixed with shadow of colossous (you can climb big monster and hit their weak points) - All action RPGS should have such combat mechanics IMO!

Skyrim, and Fifa 14 are really viable choices... creating your own story along the way.  :)

I had a go on the God Of War on play station 3,it was awesome.

I enjoy playing Super Mario when i'm alone.

As I said already at other topic, Terraria was pretty fun to solo play, but now is a PITA. Maybe you can try to solo play to get almost content, and lack some of the end game content.

Killing Floor after you lvlup some perks can be pretty fun to solo play(to lvlup the very first levels aswell)

Starcraft 2 has a very nice campaign and even playing a common game against the AI is fun.

I think playing Killing Floor with friends is better, i sometimes play Killing Floor with my friends.

Crafting is 1 or 2 items and sometimes a tool like a saw to turn boards into sticks or cloth into rope. Map is based on (P.E.I)Prince Edward Island just off east coast of Canada, you'll even see Mounty zombies, lols.

Some berries make your guy trip balls for a few mins but also lets you see at night, or crush them with stone for healing. Crushed pink reduces sickness you get from being hit by zombies or eating spoiled food. Otherwise you need to scavenge for vaccines. Also backpacks, guns with interchangeable parts & vehicles too even firetrucks and 5 seater APC's! This games a blast, check it out!

Jerubbaal75, you should be a spokesperson for that game man. I play that game and on my live stream my fans love that game either playing with me or just watch. I don't know what it is about that game but it rocks. Did you know a 16 year old made Unturned?
