Title: seekeing for a reliable and serious vendor
Post by: mariobronx on July 27, 2014, 06:11:19 PM
Dear all,

I live in Switzerland and me and a group of friends & associates want to start a mining farm.
We already have a nice cooled room in a professional datacenter. network, switches, UPS, all this stuff...

what we really need is a serious vendor. Too many scammers around, tried on Alibaba, I tried to contact directly "so called serious" manufacturers, but what I found are only scammers (the best one was the guy that replied from http://dragon-miner.com/ )

I kindly ask if any of you has a REAL vendor to recommend. No need to describe the quality of a good and real vendor. Someone that meets schedules, ships in time, fulfill contracts.

I am disposed to fly PERSONALLY in China or wherever necessary to visit the manufacturing plant.

The hashing capacity I want to buy, initially, must be not less than 30 TH/s. If all will be ok, we will reinvest other resources till we get to 100TH/s.

for 30TH/s we want to consume maximum 25KW/h. These are the specific we want to meet.

Any serious suggestion would be appreciated.

for scammers : avoid wasting our time. As said, I will fly to China, check personally all the hardware and provide a payment only when the hardware will be handled to DHL/UPS under my own eyes... so save your time and don't even try to scam me.

Regards,

Mariobronx

Start with at least 70ths then they should take you seriously.  30 is low for them. Ideally 200 and you can stay batwing a bit.

Bitmain and rockminer are your current choices. Bitmain is shipping within a week or two, rockminer will ship within 24 hrs during business week

I doubt 30th is large enough for bitmain to care.
When wanting to order 27th i still got copy/paste replies that did not answer my questions.

Like mentioned already, 30th is not as large a order as you seem to think it is.
ive resold a bit over 50th of gear and best service i get is from small resellers operating at a few percent margins, most manafacturers tend to not give a shit about customers.
