The SWIFT Institute which is funded by SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), "The global provider of secure financial messaging services" recently posted a Call for Proposals: “Virtual Currencies: What are the ‘real’ risks?:....

...Proposals must be submitted no later than August 20th 2014 and I suppose that is CEST Brussels time but I recommend checking with the email contact Peter Ware in this regards...

Love the idea some of the Brightest people putting their brain power to work and having a real discussion on the in and outs of Bitcoin.  That is a pretty sweet prize but I think it should be in Bitcoin personally.  It may get more attention from a large audience being valued in fiat but it would be more fitting for the prize to be BTC.

Would be funny if SWIFT will use all that brain power to their (the banks) advantage. :-)

A few more days till this is settled
I wonder what the submissions will be and I hope there are a few good ones among them.
