Title: How can Vertcoin be profitable, since I pay ~0.20 cents per KW/h?
Post by: acaciosc on July 28, 2014, 11:06:56 PM
I mean... Wouldn't I waste more money with power bills than with what I earn from mining this coin?

It's not.  Just wait for the latest new x11 to x15, rinse and repeat.

Or invest in something like Cloakcoin

K. But why are so many people mining this coin? Are they just hoping that this coin *may* get more value?

The question is, why are so many people selling this coin clearly below its value when instamine crap and fake anon are clogging up the exchanges?

Dunno, but we must follow what is going on with these coins... So we just mine the most profitable coins - which is not the case of vertcoin at this moment (if ever).

Around 350-400 watt, but I'm not mining alltime. Just solo at launches.

I have i5-3470 + GTX 770, SSD, few fans, that's all.

I'm playing games sometimes as well.  :)
