More New World Order conspiracy theories? I just wasted 15 minutes with the latest video, hoping it would at least make some sense; no such luck, unfortunately.

yes and no. not all the videos are about the new world order. some are about the growing corruption in the US, the erosion of civil liberties, and the rise of a police state.

it makes sense, some people just don't see it.

Fair enough; all those things are true, no doubt - but I just don't see much sense in the fear mongering, and wrapping it up in the conspiracy theory / Illuminati talk. Anyway, personally I would recommend something more like Democracy Now, or The Real News Network: they're far more clear, and "to the point".

i just want people to pay attention and realize whats going on before the leash we are already on tightens to the point of strangulation.

Its always to be insightful, but knowledge is meaningless if it cant be used.

i can't agree knowledge is meaningless. just because you may not have an immediate use of information does not mean it can't be helpful in the future.

Those two sites are pretty good, though they have been covering the Israeli invasion of Gaza these last few weeks, so you won't get as much coverage of US only news.

Then there is also The Young Turks (http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks (http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks)); they cover a little of everything, but what I particularly like about them is that they started Wolf-PAC (http://www.wolf-pac.com (http://www.wolf-pac.com)), which basically has the objective of reversing Citizens United, and taking money out of politics. Now, I don't know if they will actually manage to get anywhere with it, but if they do, it seems to me it would be a great step towards solving the problems you mentioned.

I am not American, But I have been watching some of them anyway.

So these are basically conspiracy theory clips? Nah, I think I'll pass. Yeah, occasionally there are pretty messed up things going on, but in most cases I believe that a large dose of Occam's Razor would do people good when they ponder about those things.

youngturks looks looks like a decent channel. i don't really care for US news, most of it is BS. but i do like to stay on top of current events, including international news. i think it's foolish not to pay attention to what goes on around the world.

again, yes and no. alot of the videos have conspiracy theory elements but it all ties in with current events.

In truth, no one is in control and everyone is just as scare as anyone out there right now.

Yeah, in order to make the theories more believable. That's an old trick. Nah, if you start believing in this stuff it only goes downhill from there. You begin to be more susceptible to even crazier stuff... Hopeless road! Get off it :)

i think people that live in the bubble of celebrities and consumer goods instead of being more aware of the failing political systems is the reason this country is going down hill. if you believe the president and the congress run this country instead of the big money behind the curtain i do dare to call you a fool.

lulz - nope, the system is already broken. look at education, health care, and law enforcement. all broken long before you watched the video.

none of the videos have anything good to say about obama. i saw one and it was pretty awesome. it showed him making promises during his first election. confirming his promises during his inauguration. and throughout his presidency giving the same speeches and making the same promises over and over. it was rather amusing cause you got to see the BS these people say over the years and when you see it presented this way it's easier to see you can't believe anything the government says.

the problem is the people are too occupied with their every-day lives to care about politics

they see every politician as an asshole which he actually is

and honestly I don't see a quick-fix for any of that
