For more than a year I have been lurkering the bitcoin community. During that time I had the opportunity to know many useful websites that are related to bitcoin.
Now, I have set myself a personal mission to bring the most relevant, up-to-date list of bitcoin websites in one simple page.

I hope that this website will give a quick answer to some basic bitcoin questions such as "Where do I learn more about bitcoin?" or "Where can I even spend bitcoins?".
I dont intend to link to every bitcoin website out there, only to quality websites that the community like (On most bitcoin directory sites I see today most of the links are spam or just does not exist).

I did my best to list the best sites I know about bitcoin, and I'm sure that you can find new great sites you didn't know about.
But I'm only one person and I need YOUR help to improve the content!
This is why I am having a 500$ 10 day contest to improve the content of the website!

Suggesting content is easy as:
1. Download a file http://www.thebitcoinpage.com/links.txt
2. Change it
3. Upload it back!
4. ...
5. PROFIT!

I will continue to update the website daily based on the updates that people are sending, so if you are updating the links.txt 2 days from now, please re-download it before adding content.
Over the next 10 days I am going to count the improvements of each person, and add it up. Yes, you can upload multiple updates, just be sure to include your nick and email so I can identify and count your changes!

What can you change?

• Add/Remove/Re-order Categories, Change subtitles of categories
• Add/Remove/Re-order links
• For each link: Change the Text, URL, Images on the right side (+description for the image) and Description

Right now I need a description for all the websites, but the most important content I am looking for is new quality sites related to bitcoin.

I will choose the winner in 10 days, and the prizes are:
The best contributor will get: 200$
2nd place: 100$
3rd: 50$
4-8 (5 places): 20$
9-13 (5 places): 10$
Total: 500$
Prizes will be paid in bitcoin, using bitcoinaverage rate 10 days from now.

Contributions will be counted only for content that I choose to add to the site.
If multiple people suggest the same content, I will count the changes of the first person.

6 days left for the contest and to be honest, I think its pretty easy to win the first prize since a lot of content is missing (most sites don't have description yet!). So keep submitting your content, help us build the best bitcoin directory website, and win some prizes!

I just found your e-mail in the spam folder. Gmail probably filtered the message because of the links. I'll keep an eye on the spam folder from now on... :)

Ok great! I have a few more good sites listed but I'll wait for the update. I don't want to bother you with links people already sent you :).

The content of http://www.thebitcoinpage.com/ seems to improve every single day since the beginning of the contest!

Its difficult to check all the links that are being sent to me, but I manage to do it. Please only send quality links which are not broken. Also, I managed to fix a huge bug in the code that maps all the different icons into one picture :)
