Title: [WTS] 1 Bitmain Antminer S2
Post by: mdude77 on July 31, 2014, 02:06:53 PM
I got it around the middle of May, so it's about 2.5 months old now.

It came with one dead temp sensor, all the others are fine.

There are one or two blades that sometimes throw up Xs or dashes and sometimes it causes the hashrate to decrease to 985 GH/s, but for the most part, it runs right around 1 TH/s.  Usually a power cycle will take care of the Xs for a few days, until they return.

I also put a Thermaltake Gold 1200W PSU in it.  I'm willing to sell with the stock PSU, or no PSU at all for a discount.

I'm selling it because the noise and heat doesn't work for me anymore. :(

Selling for 2 BTC shipped priority to you (my choice of USPS, Fedex, or UPS based on location/price/time) in the continental US.

I'd prefer not ship internationally, but if you're willing to deal with customs (I won't under price it or mislabel it), and pay for the extra shipping cost, I'll probably do it.

M

EDIT: I'm on the east cost of the US.

escrow or what?

Can do escrow at your expense if you want it.  I have a good rep, have been around for a while, I personally don't think escrow is necessary.  Check my trust values.

I dont care, your a stranger regardless. And just noticed your price is not reasonable, plus escrow is at my expense? I think it should be split but whatevers.

good luck on your sale.

What would you consider a reasonable price?  If you look, the last set of S2s sold here were $1550 a piece.

If anyone here is a stranger it is you.

No feedback, just joined at the end of May, low post count.

He is welcome to ask whatever he wants and set whatever terms he wants. If you don't like it no one if forcing you to buy it.

Also, reasonable offers will certainly be considered.

Note that it weighs 40lbs, so it doesn't ship cheaply.  The last one I sold went to Canada (2nd fastest shipping) at a cost of $300 USD, most of which I paid out of pocket.

If you aren't in a hurry, I can ship for a lower price.

If your willing to lower I may consider.

I can currently at 0.68 BTC get a 440GH miner at Bitmain.
2.04 BTC gets me 1320 GH at 1020 Watts. Currently.

Noted.  That doesn't include PSU(s).  What would you consider to be reasonable?

I'll offer 1 BTC

Might seem low. But with a dead temp sensor and the bad blades throwing codes... i believe this is inline with it's value.

I'm close to DC too, so it may work out easy for shipping/delivery.

That's a little bit too low.  It still works just fine at 1 TH/s, and if you aren't able to reboot it every few days, you get 985 GH/s.  The dead temp sensor came that way.  After contacting bitmain for support, only one blade is having problems now, and I'm working on RMAing it.

I'll leave the offer on the table. If you're wanting to negotiate, we can. I don't have much room on the plus side of 1, but will entertain it.
