how to get the bonus

Hi,

On the main page there's a good explanation by clicking "How the game works" or also from the the announcement thread:

Rage Bonus:
The players who sign up early get paid back 1.2x their payment to the game.
[Learn More about the Rage Bonus] (http://www.ragecore.com/referralindex.php)

Also how to win the core prize:

Major goal (besides having fun) is to reach rank #1 in universe ranking to win the core prize. To achieve this you need score which is in turn a result of spending resources (named: metal, crystal or eonium) into Spaceships and similar more or less military equipment.

......

Core Prize:
At the end of the round 20% of all fees for the round will be awarded to the player with the highest score.
[See Hall of Fame to view past winners] (http://www.ragecore.com/famehall.php)

I can explain further if you'd like. :)

No.

The Core Prize is accumulating as people pay to play the game, then it is awarded to the player with the highest score.  The intention of the Rage Bonus is to reward the early players of each round and to deter people from creating multiple accounts.

haha, Yes, I'm sure his score went up! When you have a battle at your planet, you receive more points from the scrap collected and gained in resources.  ;D It's not much, but enough to give a little raise for the smaller units.

So question then.

You say you get 1.2X your payment.

So if I deposit .01 I will get .012 back and then still have a chance at Core Prize?

How do you make money if you are giving more back than people put in?

Hi,

I'll be glad to answer your questions:

So question then.

You say you get 1.2X your payment.

You can see in detail how the Bonus works (1.2x your payment) at the Rage Bonus page (Click Here) (http://www.ragecore.com/referralindex.php)

At the top of the page it gives the explanation in detail.

So if I deposit .01 I will get .012 back and then still have a chance at Core Prize?

Yes. The core prize is awarded at the end of the round. You can get none, one, the other, or both. (If that makes any sense)

How do you make money if you are giving more back than people put in?

I do not give more that I am receiving.  The Rage Bonus is simply to reward the early players of each round and to deter people from creating multiple accounts.

Okay, so the Rage bonus, is essentially a ponzi related thing in addition to the normal game, because otherwise how would you get .012 back if you only put in .01

Yes. If you get the Rage Bonus, you also have the chance for the Core Prize. The core prize is awarded at the end of the round.
If you don't get the rage bonus, are you still eligible for the core prize?

So the game is OK, its simple.  We need a way bigger player base to get any alliance battles and stuff like that... Maybe you should reduce the price to 0.001 BTC and make core prizes more evenly distributed...

Hi,

It depends if there enough people that sign up and pay after you.

Check the rage bonus page to see where you stand in the list to be paid, and if you will receive the bonus or not.

Kind of confused. Is this a Ponzi based game?

Not saying it is bad, because I like that it is different but still a bit confused after reading the rules and how it works.

So it is essentially 2 games in 1.  The game is played and you can get a highscore, this will award you x amount of money for winning called the "Core prize"

Rage bonus--This is a ponzi game, it is optional to play but does increase the overall winning part of it , its actually a pretty great idea!

I'll try to explain it in three steps.

1. You pay to join the game.
2. You play a round (lasts 1 week) to win the Core Prize. (Currently .056 for Round 1)
3. As you are playing the game, you are added to the queue for the Rage Bonus. If there are enough people that sign up to play after you, you will receive the rage bonus.

Does that help clear things up? Thanks for being patient as I am improving the explanation to make it easier for new players to understand.

Its not a Ponzi, I think the main reason its set up like this with the rage bonus is to stop people from making loads of accounts and using them to work as one, to win the core prize.
