Im gonna a bit conservative and say we are going to be seeing something a little bit above all time high as best case scenareo (conservative as in the 2000 winning one)

The longer it takes to start, the higher the bubble. 


Emotions drive bubbles, so if they believe the bubble will likely go to 6000, they will wait longer to start selling than if they believe the bubble will only go to 2500.  When everyone is anxious and worried that there will be no more bubbles, discussing how overdue it is, I hope it take another 2 months.  Desperation will turn into euphoria and buying.

My best guess is 3-4k, but I would love to see 10k even if there would be a massive crash afterwards.

I agree.  It's like a spring coiling tighter and tighter.  If it takes until summer of 2015 to go 'bubble phase' I would expect $10k+ 'bubble', if it starts right now or in the next month or two I'd guess more like $3k-$5k.  Either is fine with me.

Yeah, but what if 10K is the new floor and you cash out? This kills me.

I expect prices to skyrocket after NY BitLicense ,maybe 2k

The raise can start in last quarter of this year, but to anticipate the exact price it can reach is hard, it can be 5x,  10x or even more the current price

I predict 3500$ as the highest peak of this year, but it's based on nothing, just worthless speculation.

Anything in the 2000$-5000$ range should be fine, I don't think it will reach 10x the last ath.

I start to get the feeling that this year will be a very quiet one, only thing that could change this would be the ETF hitting the street.

This is a very very difficult question. It totally depends whether there's going to be another bubble this year. If not, we may be staying below the old high of approx. $1000... I'm optimistic though, so I'll go with...... $3400!

Yes, the last 2 choices cover every possible price range, and completely nullify any other ranges in the poll.  The OP clearly does not know how to craft a valid poll in a survey.

I guess bitcointalk should require you to upload a document that proves you have passed Statistics 101 in order to start a new poll!

Maybe the poll choices were meant to have the behavior of cascaded if-else or switch statements?

doubt we will go above 1000. We already under effect of the stuffs that put bitcoin price below this year.


But we may find space to go above 900 in the end of year, where people get work bonus, specially if we find another geopolitical crysis, like we had with Ukraine and Syria.

I doubt will be much higher as is now. unless some one makes lots of mess.

Hard to guess. Let's say 3500$ in late 2014, but my prediction is based only on sentiment :)

The new all time high will be in the 3000$ - $5000 range, the charts say that :P

Bitcoin bubbles happen only after despair. We haven't seen despair yet as most everyone on this forum is in the black still.

Wait until we are all in the red, then we can expect a push up. That won't happen this year. Only more downward pressure for months on end. Entire year is shot. I am expecting 2015 Oct and we see a push to 1k again.

Then to 5k in 2016.

Treat the price like a marathon, not a sprint. Slow, steady and periodically adding to one's holdings positions whenever possible.
