In my opinion, there are only 2 faucets that are good enough and pay better than others, lucky chekin and freebitcoin

Unless you live in a 3rd world country where $1 is a 1/2 a day of work, there is not point in using a faucet more than once or twice.  A faucet is useful to teach new people how to install the QT or other wallet and how to send coins.  Once they learned that they should move on, not look for pennies on the sidewalk.  People are entitled to do whatever they want, but you would be more prosperous looking for loose change around a vending machine.

Even for the best one (freebitco.in), you can only get a few cents a day.
So unless you can get lots of ref on the faucets, it is not really a good idea to use them.

Yes, by default you get 0.00000337 BTC an hour, so if you type those captchas for 16 hours you get 0.00005392 BTC.  This is 0.03$ at the current market price. Other faucets seem to be paying even less. There are other ways to earn bitcoin, which are faster - have a look in the services section.

It changes depending on the BTC price so there isn't really a default. Usually it hovers around that level though. Same with Freedoge.co.in.

And that's why you really shouldn't spend your time typing captchas on faucets, as you can only get a few cents a day (maybe $10 a year).
Instead, you can join a sig campaign and spend 10 minutes a day here making a few posts. :)

visit landofbitcoin, it will lead you trough roughly 80ish faucets
But these 80 all also have no worth now because payout is very less and you can earn good just with referrals

Best 4 right now are Bitcoin Zebra , FreeBitco.in , BitCoinKer, and my favorite - Moonbit.co.in

My faves are freebitcoin (http://freebitco.in/?r=526387) and freedogecoin (http://freedoge.co.in/?r=8626) and sometimes BitcoinGet (http://www.bitcoinget.com/?r=1DVkk8gASq3CMXDbCfrgHBdeEVWm5pcPBV) where you can get a slightly better hourly rate just by letting the videos play in the background while you work on other stuff. But I think you'd do better just to keep earning Bitcoin by hanging out in the Services subforum right here on Bitcointalk or selling old stuff you don't want anymore for Bitcoin.

Just stop.  Rotation?  Best faucet?

That's like asking what's the best dumpster to find donuts or pizza in?  Why are you guys promoting people to waste their time?  Faucets make money for the owner of the faucet (which is not a bad thing) but it doesn't generate any income for the receiver (probably uses more electricity to run the computer than you get in dust).

Did you see the above post about $0.03 after 16 hours of faucet work?  How can there be a best in that?  ??? :o

Acquiring referrals is the only way to earn something from faucets, but in order to have a real gain,
you should have tons of users referred, and it's a very difficult job.

As others already explained to you, the faucet payment is too low and you shouldn't try working on it.
The only exception is that you have the ability to get tons of people using your ref links to register the sites.

Even in this situation working in a 3rd world country would be more profitable then spending your time on faucets. With a faucet you would be lucky to make a penny per day.

Agree now its time for them to do some search and bring some better way of advertising which give benefit to both admin and user

People think it might take off the same way Ripple did (since it's a shady Ripple fork) -- bit of a long shot. But I don't mind tossing a few mBTC at it. Not gonna invest much though....

Wow, I really don't think that there are any faucets that are worthwile nowadays. They have to get their BTC from somewhere, and the only way they can do it is by selling ads and using the ad-revenue to buy BTC that they can give to the users of their faucets. It's not that much. You could only wait until BTC does another jump up so those few Satoshi are worth more!

Faucets have a very low return on invested time., but it's better to do something than nothing at all.
You can earn between 0 and 0.00001000 BTC per day from a faucet.

This is not true. If you run the numbers as to what you will make with a faucet, then you will see that you will earn close to zero with a faucet. You are better off thinking of ways that you can potentially make more money.

Luckycheckin.com
Moonbitco.in
Btcrock,biz
Freebitco.in
Freedoge.co.in (Its dogecoin faucet, you can get doge address from exchange and convert it to btc)

Remember : Nowadays BTC/Altcoins faucets aren't worth. If you are paying electricity fee, then try to avoid spending huge time on faucets.

Yeah, PrimeDice has a pretty decent faucet, that's for sure! The only disadvantage would be that you can't withdraw the coins you get there, unless you are above a certain amount of BTC!

Man, just don't try and get anything from those faucets. They're a rip off. They try to look nice and give you Bitcoin, but in reality they show you ads and get more money by showing you those boring ads than they ever pay out in Bitcoins over the faucet!!!

The cashout threshold is pretty low at just 50000 satoshi.
So it is not that hard to get over that threshold, especially during happy hours. :)

I've been using faucets untill I've found this site and singed for a campaign. But here's some I've been using:

I've posted this some time ago.

First of all this can get you a fair amount of free bitcoins if you are patient, so don't expect to get rich of it, it's still free btc so let's grab as much as we can.

Second, we will be combining a few sites to max the profit.

-freebitco.in   ( freebitco.in )   this site can payout really high amount but you'll need to have a few referals in order to do so, but it's still one with the best and comfirmed payouts

-dailybitcoins.org ( dailybitcoins.org ) This is one of my favorite btc sites. Request a payment every hour, try to unleast, to recieve a payment and a VOUCHER. Now, redeem those vouchers and you can later sell them at Peerbet.org (just type in hte chat @voucher and paste your voucher code) or you can advertise with those vouchers. It is good to combine freebitco.in with coinurl and then put that shortened link, so you also get btc when someone views your ad

-Coinurl.com ( Coinurl.com ) great site if you have your blog or a website or in a combination with dailybitcoins. Don't have anything else much to say about this

-CoinAd.com ( CoinAd.com ) My favorite site. Very simple PTC faucet with a fairly high payouts that you can earn in 2-3 days (payouts take some time). Strongly Recomend this one

-bitcrate.me and coinbox.me   ( bitcrate.me )  ( coinbox.me )  Best colection of faucets, you can hit the minimum withdraw within a few hours and payouts are farely fast, every 6 hours I think. I also STRONGLY recomend these two

So these are my favorite. If anyone has any suggestion, tips, question, feel free to post. Cheers and good luck!

BitcoinGet is my fave, mostly because I can get microbits for letting videos play in the background while doing other things. http://www.bitcoinget.com/?r=1DVkk8gASq3CMXDbCfrgHBdeEVWm5pcPBV

Lol!

You guys should read more about faucets ..
You can make way more than 1000 sats per day with faucets..
Don't use those that pays 20 sats/hour.. the minimuum is 500sats/h + possibility of more (lucky rolls )

And i say it everytime : it MAY look like a waste of time TODAY, but it's FREE satoshis, and if BTC keep going up, it's GONNA be profitable.. so the point is to collects those satoshis today but keep em and wait until the price is way higher..
