Title: Hello..
Post by: twister on August 01, 2014, 08:49:10 AM
Hi, everyone

Just wanted to say hi to all the members of the site.

And hopefully I will be able to learn new ways of earning bitcoins here as I don't have enough to spend on mining and/or purchasing right now.

Thanks

Welcome to bitcointalk, twister.
If you have some products or services to sell, you can do it for bitcoin.
If not, you can join a signature campaign and get paid for posting constructive posts.

Not many sig campaigns will accept a newbie. One or two might but their payouts are very low. PD only accepts members and up.

You should aim to become a member of the forum by posting every day, after some months you will be able to join a signature campaign and earn some satoshis.
In the meantime check the altcoin sections, there are some human minable coins (huntercoin / let'stalkbitcoin_coin / others).

Never heard this one. Other than Huntercoin, Motocoin is (was?) also human mineable too although I think bots might have ruined it last time I checked.

True, the best campaign for newbies and jr members is the 777coin campaign (0.00004 and 0.00005 per post respectively).
After reaching the member status, there are a lot more choices like LB, PD, Dicebitco.in, PRC, etc and the payment is much higher.

Friendly reminder; use 2FA everywhere and read as much as possible about how to secure your coins!

This section of the forum is a nice place to get started.

This is a nice page I love to show to new people. It makes you learn to interact with the wallet and you get some free satoshi by following and completing the tutorial. Enjoy:

InwardContour was talking about the LTBcoin (announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=712944.0) and it uses something called Proof of Participation (PoP).
Feel free to check https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L7HmE8IupFiSrfqk9BgNa4Zg9XogqtScyQjTw0k2xCc for details. :)

Before learning how to earn bitcoin, you should learn how to protect your bitcoin before it is too late.
A good article on it: http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-store-your-bitcoins/

This is because you are posting to fast, once your rank goes up you can post faster. The forum has different rankings, and payments are different based on it.
They are :  brand new, newbie, jr. member, member, full member, senior member and hero member.  Once you are jr. member you won't have any problems with waiting time  :)

Hello :) starting out with faucets is always wise until you can find a steady way of making some bitcoins yourself. Offering services and stating you wish to be paid by bitcoin is one thing to consider. Good luck! :)

You will become a jr member when you have 30 activity, and your posting time limit will be down to just 75 seconds when you have 15 activity.
