awesome, i wasn't paying much attention lately to the price, but its great to see bitcoin rising without much resistance after the drop a few days ago. i really look forward that we will finally break the 700$ again.

I hope we get a full year of steady price so Bitcoin actually resembles a currency to see if people start using it as a method of payment for goods and also to give the 99% that missed the boat a bigger opportunity to rack more BTC before things start going apeshit and we hit 5k or so.

This can be only a small bounce but if the value will break through the 700$ limit,
probably we will ride the choochoo train another time, the next week will tell us more details of our imminent future.

In all seriousness I'd say this is panic buying due to the hedgefund release date, I don't see this triggering a real rally for at least a few weeks to a month, if this triggers it at all. Resistance at 650 is going to be like an iron wall, but in a month when the fund starts trading...could be big.

Up we go! Really great for a friday. Was already preparing for some end of the week dumping when the price remained stable and suddenly even went up. We gotta make it through the weekend and next week should start off with a nice 1w MACD then!

Good points but with respect, I think it's just a few individuals controlling the price right now. The last ~$40 swing only took an injection of about 7000BTC on Bitstamp at an avg price of $580 that's only $4,060,000.

Whales will periodically keep injecting $4-10mil to float the price index on Bitstamp, it's easily done and not a lot (easy), money for them.

The value is bouncing in this 570-610 range since weeks but in my opinion it will break through 650$ in few days.

So there is the stabilization we all wanted, at least for some time

1) No one knows for certain which way it is going.
2a) Check the fundamentals: Is the Bitcoin economy growing rapidly?
2b) Now we know for certain that Bitcoin is going much higher!  :D

Me personally I'm ok with the price.  Not long ago we were at 400  then got to 650 fast.  how can the price being were it is now be any real reason for concern.  It's not like the price needs to keep going up or were doomed.  Maybe this is the calm before the storm or we could see steady growth. 

The last thing I expect is the price to decline to the point of no return and to me that is all that matters.  Bring on the cheap coin as far as I'm concerned.   ;)

$600 was such a great support. Now it really has become a resistance. We need some serious break-through back into the $650 or even higher before we can start entering a full-blown bull market again.

i think will reach $2000 this time, the past experiences tell us that after some dump there are some pump, endless cycle

I gotta say now, with all those good news we had and all those mini-rallyes that started over the last couple weeks, it seems more and more obvious, that we won't leave the station as of now. There seems to be not enough volume or buying pressure to ignite the rocket and get it going... I guess we'll have to wait for fall! (I mean the season, not BTC going down ;))

Treading new territory in the price of Bitcoin is better than just looking at the same range all time so i also would like to see a new All Time high reached this year.

However its still a melancholy for now.

This is just like when we were stuck @ $100 for a while with no volume and markets totally frozen, then we popped up to $130-$140.  We dont need a drop and even if we drop it wont be by much at this point. those thinking we'll see anything much under $500 are kidding themselves.

Sell in May and go away is an old saying.  There'll probably be a rally in the autumn.

For whatever reason, the price always has a tendency to move on Thursdays??? I think we could easily get pumped to >$600 today but got a feeling it will trickle back to $580-586 over next 6 days
